Kane Clogs

I love these shoes. I work on hard cement floors all day. The only pair of stylish shoes i have found that help back pain. I can wear them all day long. The only thing i don't like, they definitely make my feet sweat.

I’m on my fifth pair of Kane clogs. They do make my feet sweat a little but they are so comfortable that I’ve worn them almost exclusively for the past few years. Unfortunately, they have changed somehow. Now, they squish and squeak with every step. It’s embarrassing. On the plus side, these make fabulous gardening shoes. Just hose them off when you”re done. I also wear these as water shoes when I walk our pool’s lazy river for exercise. They stay on my feet!

Great fit and comfort

I've never worn clogs but decided to try. These clogs are super cushioned; able to go for long walks with them - no need to break them in. Super comfortable.

Feel great even if worn for hours - EXCEPT, my feet get sweaty which has never been a problem with leather uppers.

I am crazy about my Kanes, and even my podiatrist adores them. I just cannot, for the life of me, understand why Dansko has stopped making them in what was previously a wide array of colors! In fact, it looks as if they’re being discontinued. Yet they are The Perfect Shoe, at least as good, and maybe even better than the cork-soled clog Dansko is famous for (although possibly not as long lasting.) The Dansko Kane clog, in a bright array of stellar colors, should be the flagship of the Dansko brand. Discontinuing them makes no sense. I have Dansko Kane clogs in black, blue, red, yellow (2pr) and fuchsia. They are a dream-come-true shoe. They are my every-single-day shoes and my every-single-night slippers. These shoes treat my 71yr old, profoundly arthritic feet very kindly indeed, with terrific arch support and wonderful cushioning – but not the squishy kind that challenges your balance. These shoes feel very secure on my feet. I haven’t the slightest worry about them coming off as I walk (though I wouldn’t recommend them for mud wrestling, climbing hills or, god forbid, mountains!) I reliably wear a size 10 shoe and, because these are backless, I ordered a size 9.5-10, and it’s a great fit. These are perfect shoes for people who spend all day standing or walking on level ground, as well as for people like me, who want to be able to slip out of their shoes frequently when they prop their feet up in the recliner. My mail carrier saw me outside wearing my bright yellow Kanes one day and made a nice comment as she passed by. A moment later she stopped, turned around, and walked back to ask me about them. After I extolled their virtues, she resolved to go home to order herself a pair that same day. [That was back when Dansko sold them in a wonderful array of colors.] Dansko designs shoes so your toes and feet have room to spread out, and even swell after a long day upright, so don’t expect their shoes to “fit like a glove.” That’s the last thing you want! Their shoes may feel looser than you’re used to at first, but that’s good. As long as the shoes feel like they will stay securely on your feet as you walk, and they don’t rub anywhere, they’re probably a good fit. In no time, your feet will thank you for not squeezing them into laced-up shoes, where they rub and sweat and get smelly. I’m glad I went mad and bought so many colors of these, because it looks like they’ll have to last me the rest of my life. But I’m sure they’re up to it.

This 37 is considerably smaller than the same clog in 37 (same style, same color, even!) bought about two years ago.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I don’t know what changed, but these are still squeaking with every step 6 months after wearing them. It drives me crazy! I wish I could return them because they are just so annoying!
