This is a good fitting x wide boot. I wear 10 EE and this one works. Comfortable to walk and work in. One huge design flaw is the top shoelace eyelet. It's a metal enclosed tube that absolutely destroys the shoelace from first lace-up. Within a few times lacing, the lace looks like it's a year old and ready to break. It tears up the lace so bad, I'm nervous if I don't have a backup with me. I can not believe this eyelet design made it out of the testing room - the worst performing thing I've ever seen in a shoe. I wouldn't buy again or recommend the boot because of this fail. If it were a different, reasonable top eyelet, I'd get another pair today.

I bought these on a whim before a big trip. Now, after more than a year of travel and wearing almost daily in all kinds of terrain and weather, except snow, these have held up wonderfully. They give grip when you're hiking in all kinds of terrain and I haven't had them soak inside with water yet and I've gone through lots of water on this trip.
Would definitely buy them again when the time comes.
