These new boots are great and are replacing the 6.5" Lace-up Bean Boots that I bought in 1981. About 20 years ago I sent them to LLBean to get them re-soled; that gave me a couple more decades of service. Recently I had to deem the lace ups as "no longer usable" due to massive breakdown and I deemed them not repairable. These new boots are very comfortable and I am sure they will last longer than my own life span since I am now 76.
Work well for my dog walks in fields. Feet stay dry. Would recommend them.

We order from LL bean often, however this order for the 6.5 chelsea mens are super loose. I can put them on and remove them like crocs

Got this boot in his size 13 although he wears a 14 - as the description recommends wearing a size down. It's just what he was looking for - a waterproof boot (up to the leather upper) that can fit over mid weight socks. The darker brown color is appreciated in such a large size, as well.
