I bought the all dark brown fat babys in 6 C-Wide. I've had a black pair before. They run ever-so-slightly big. I wear these boots often when I volunteer with horseback riding lessons, and they are comfy and protect my feet. I've also worn them out all over NYC and at work. Truly I have no complaints about the fatbabys, they are great boots.

These boots are my first pair of ariats and I love wearing them and wish i could just live in them.
Big mistake, Ariat, sunsetting the VentTek version of this boot. Fine, eliminate the best option for the best boot that WORKING trainers swear by, but at least maintain the quality of the leather used for the uppers. My THREE previous pairs had soft, tough, high quality oil-treated leather. The uppers on this pair are clearly lower grade and they aren't oil treated. All of this points to your R&D and marketing teams losing the plot. You took a great boot and degraded its quality, too what end?

These boots are so cute and comfortable! As a new boot girly I'm obsessed. Nice for the barn or for everyday wear.
The name will throw you off it wasn't gray but more of a buffalo hide color to which I'm really happy about. I like the idea that it won't take any time to break in, the soles look to have good traction and after trying them on they're comfortable as heck. The fit was perfect and the unpolished look is really cool and they look like they're going to last forever. I can't wait to wear them on my trip to Japan!
