Targhee IV Vent

I currently own 6 pairs of Keen brand shoes in various styles. The sizing on each style is different. I normally wear a men's 10.5 wide width shoe, but for these Targhee IV Vent shoes the size 10, normal (D) width were good. Still a little bit loose, but good enough for me. I find them very comfortable to wear even on long, strenuous hikes. The tread is rugged and grips well on smooth rock surfaces. I've only had them for a little while, but I think they'll hold up quite well.

These shoes fit me perfectly, have worn them for more than 12 hours and my feet still felt great.

This would be a 5-star review, except that I happen to have two very different sized feet - my right foot is a regular 12, and my left is a regular 11. 5. With the Keen shoes - which are excellent, BTW, I wound up buying another pair to get two shoes that fit. That tells you how good they are - normally, I'd chalk this up to "they aren't right for me" but these are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. So - if your feet are close in size to each other - buy these. If they aren't - well, you may have some issues. I know this is a weird review - but these really, really are great shoes - my personal sizing issues aren't really relevant, except for the fact that these run large in the toe box - which is GREAT for me.

This shoe is super solid. I like the colors. I ordered a size 9 1/2. This shoe is almost a 10. My size is usually a size 9 and sometimes a 9 1/2, depending on what I do with them. I adjusted the size, by adding a K20 Utility insole in a medium, which maxes at size 10.

Replaced my last pair. Rubber sides seem to be better attached but less venting than last generation. Looking for a hiking show that has more cushion than a sandal but stays cool on hot trails.

comfortable and big enough: these fit me great and seem slightly larger than other size 15. Which for a walking shoe is great. I only have about 50 miles on them but they seem very sturdy. I love the vented feature. I find low shoe height and waterproof at counter purpose. If I'm in the mts in cold weather I want snow protection and stream protection as well as rain protection. When it's summer and hot I want a vented shoe that helps kept my feet dry. I wish Keen would make more vented shoes and boots.

Excellent hiking shoes: The shoes are not just for hiking, I also use them for work and they are very comfortable that I going to buy another pair. I recommend these shoes to everyone.
