I've put about 200 miles in these shoes and finished a 5.5 mile run in a light rain that had me completely soaked, except for my feet. They are a great for winter running, which is the primary application for me since they, of course, trap the heat more than regular shoes because of the Gore-Tex. Sometimes I wish there was a variant with the same cushioning as the FuelCell Rebel v5. As always, I'm grateful to have a wide fit option for this kind of shoe.

These shoes are pure garbage. Gortex. They are not. Light rain and you’re soaked. My socks got so wet I had to end my hike. This is a horrible product. Why bother having gortex on the shoe if they are not even water resistant. I would never shop for New Balance again.

Don't understand the low rating: Excellent shoe. Light, good traction, very comfortable. I got the 2E and it fits beautifully. Don't understand the low ratings.

Comfortable Gortex sneakers: I would recommend buying a half size up, i wear US 9 in sneakers which is what I ordered but when it came I wished I have purchased the 9.5

Fits tighter than the Regular: 2E width was to tight in the toebox and arch, compaired to the Non Gore-Tex version. Tried two separate pairs and tried different lacing patterns, still had the same result.
