These are well made but run a bit heavy. Had to exchange for 1/2 size smaller as I was stepping out of my normal JM size.

I liked the finish of the shoes. Soles look great, even though I prefer the XC4 soles. Leather seemed to be of great quality. Color is darker blue, true to pic. I typically wear 9 and ordered one, but 8. 5 is the better fit but unfortunately sold out. 8. 5 is my typical loafer size, except a Johnston & Murphy XC4 loafer I got was size 9. Couldn't tell whether the sole was squeaking slightly or not, as I decided to return the larger 9 and wait for 8. 5. I recommend this shoe.
