Portland Boot Lace Up

I bought these boots back in November of 2026 and although the boots themselves were very comfortable the raised rubber treads on the soles wore down and were completely gone after 6 months. I returned the boots for a pair of hiking shoes. I do like the shoes but would have preferred to kept the boot style I originally bought. Thanks for accepting the return and replacing without any hesitation! I am a long term and always satisfied customer (Except this time:-)

After reading so many reviews, I was wary that these would not fit well so I have only worn them indoors in case I have to return them. With my Smartwool work boot socks, these boots are so comfortable, I thought there was something wrong with how comfortably they fit. I have always had difficulty finding comfortable footwear and, completely unrelated, good quality and durable automobile tires. There will be a period of breaking-in, and with boots especially, it is always the tongue that needs the most work. These are the best fitting and most comfortable boots I have ever had the privilege of owning and wearing and I've had them all. Being a footwear fanatic, I even own 2 pair of Red Wing 101 for work so I can rotate them out, and 2 pair of motorcycle boots for the same reason. I ordered my regular shoe size that I always wear and the width and length are correct. No pinching nor excess lateral play and I can wiggle my toes the right amount. My feet do not lift out when I walk in them. You cannot put a price on the value you get from owning and wearing this item

Sewn-on sole, not glued-on, so they will last many years and can be re-soled. Vibram sole is sturdy and will last a long time, rather than coming apart when glue dries out. Smooth leather lining inside makes it easy to put on / take off, without rough edges to chafe your feet and ankles. Shoelaces are cotton, which will do until you replace them with paracord laces. Rub in some Sno-Seal, then wear them around the until they adjust to your feet.

Sizing is accurate and they break in nicely. Great for urban adventures.

I am very pleased with this pair of boots. Sought them recently and still breaking them in. Sturdy construction and stitching. The laces stay tumied and snug when I am wear these around the yard or take a hike. The Vibram soles are incredibly durable and strong. These boots seem built to last and so far, they seem like I'll enjoy wearing these for quite a long time.

I wear a 13 in every other boot. These were too big. Gave me blisters on my northern Cali trip.

Super comfortable, I added the hiking insoles sold at the store and could not be happier with the fit and finish. I can average above 8 miles a day walking with my dogs and these boots are made for walking!

I am usually a 11.5/12 depending on the shoe or boot. I got an 11.5 size I saw reviews mentioning they run large. The 11.5 were still wayyy too big for me. Had to return and will be going another size down when I get them again.
