I have really messed up feet, since busting them up in a rock climbing accident. I love to run even though it's painful, but having shoes with almost-comical amounts of support and cushion make it doable. These Hokas are the cushiest yet. I've taken them on 3 runs, and so far so good. One thing I've noticed is the way the shape of the sole makes me role up on my toes. The past few Hokas I've had didn't do this, nor has any running shoe I've ever owned. I'm not complaining...it's just interesting. It definitely makes my calves burn a bit more especially on hills but I think this is a good thing. Almost like it's letting my legs take a little bit of the impact off my feet- not sure if that makes any sense. I love the early 90s-Neon look of this pair, and they're great for walking too. I'll have to take them on a few more runs to determine if I like them better than the Brooks Glycerine though - that's my go-to shoe but I wanted to start increasing distance again and thought I'd try Hokas again.

These are the perfect combo - stability with lots of cushioning! I have high arches and a slightly wide foot, the toe box is a much better fit compared to Bondis, just a bit smaller. TTS for Hokas, I order a half size down.Please make better color options available!!
I actually liked the support of this shoe better than the shoe I kept. It felt very supportive. I kept the other one which is a good shoe also but not quite as supportive. The other one is the MAFATE5. But I liked the color better.. what can I say? I had noticed people suggested sizing up a half size but I think these shoes are actually pretty accurate with their sizing and I would’ve gone with a half size down instead. Unless you have a foot that’s large. The regular size should fit you. My foot is kind of small and narrow in this feels long and wide, but if I put on a good size sock, it works. And I’m not returning the shoe because of any problem, just cause I had two and I needed to pick one and the other one had the better color. Don’t shame me about that .

Great pair of sneakers, love the color!! I love these sneakers! I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and they are great on the treadmill. I cant wait to do some trails with them!
