I have mild to moderate hallux valgus (bunions). These boots were a dream - I tried 5 different wide boots and these are the clear winner! I have always been a size 7.5, now buying 8-8.5 in regular shoes. The size 9 boot was PERFECT. Went for a 4 mi hilly hike - wearing injinji hiking weight toe socks to let my toes go where they wanted - and it was like getting my old foot back! no foot pain with orthotics in them. So glad to have found these.
