These boots are soft and look fantastic - either at work or play! The quality of them seems really good, they are well padded, and the souls rubber seemingly has just the right amount of tackiness to it. Regarding fit, unless you truly have narrow feet, I highly suggest that you select wider option, because the D seems slightly snug compared to most boots I have. If I could change just one small thing with these boots, I would prefer that the US flag tag be replaced with a more subdued (perhaps a small black branded USA, rather than the red, white and blue tag.

Im that guy that has to go get new work boots once a year because I refuse to spend money on quality. Well, for once I did my research and came upon the Mt Vernon II and WOW, what a difference in build quality, comfortability, and waterproof that actually does its job. Shouldnt take long to wear these in but initial feel is quite comfortable and surprisingly lightweight (steel toe).

Week 3 So far so good, this boot feels so light weight. Its very comfortableI recommend it for any light construction work.

Best boots out there: Being wearing Keen for the past 15 years. What i love about this boots are that they last forever and super resistant!!

Highly recommended boot and brand. Wore one pair daily for a year even though they were not quite wide enough. The Mt Vernon wasn't available for a while and I tried several other styles, just weren't right for me. Had to change brands for a while and they just aren't as rugged. . Saw that the Mt Vernon was again available and decided to try them again. My feet may be wider now and I just couldn't wear them. Need a 3E. I like that they are rugged, the quick lace ups at top, met safety requirements, height didn't bother my big calves. They are great just not wide enough, which is common problem in safety boots. Keen could win a new niche with a wider size
