Some confusion must be expected when you can only fit 16 pieces into each box but the company has 17 pieces printed on each box. Maybe it's a marketing plot to get customers to buy more than once in order to try each of the 17 varieties they have available. Get it? There's a variety of 17 pieces available that they produce, but you only get 16 of the 17 available. So maybe repeat customers will be generated by Bossingets if someone loves the candy so much, like baseball cards you hope to collect them all. I received my order on a fairly cold day in February. The weather may have affected the appearance as these treats photograph quite well. Think in terms of "the camera really 'liking' someone." i.e. they're photogenic and maybe look better in pictures than they do on person or vice versa. So despite anti-eye appeal, though not too dramatically, the candy is close to exceptional. I will definitely order these again sometime, just not in the dead of July. Heh-eh. MESSY.

These were exceptionally well packaged. Beautifully presented in the box. Given as a gift and the recipient loved them.

Purchase a box of Bissinger’s chocolates advertised as 17 pieces, received a box with only 13 pieces. False advertising. Shame on Macys.
