Nice lamp and it's a great price. But when the lamp is turned on, the mercury glass becomes transparent and loses that rich mercury look.

I absolutely love this lamp. At first I bought the Possini, but it was enormous; this is the perfect size for a regular table lamp. I would easily give it five stars, however, the shade is really too small for my taste - even in the image, to me it's clear that it needs a beefier shade. I bought a 16" drum (no taper) in black, and I think it's really perfect. It's too bad I had to pour another $50 into this lamp to get the right look, but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. I love the final product.
