Sumotech Flexible Hold Cream Solid

I was really surprised at this cream. I wouldn’t say I’m the target audience for this but it worked amazing on my bangs! They stayed bouncy and didn’t fall all day! I followed the instructions to a T and I would suggest this for anybody who is looking for hold without the greasiness. My bangs never got frizzy and were easily able to be combed through. First of all, I was super excited to try out this product. Upon opening, I thought it smelled like a dentist's office. Not exactly terrible, but not great either. Product came out of the jar easily and emulsified between my hands nicely. Worked into my hair, left it a tad bit sticky. The hold was fabulous though. All day long it held it in place, without any hardness like hairspray. The only real issue I had, was that it didn't hold up well on the second day. Made my short hair extra wild and crazy after sleeping on it. I would use again, but not if I wanted to go a few days without washing my hair. Says it's for short hair so I tried it on my waist-length hair. It's for short hair. It's basically wax so you really have to work it up between your hands. It didn't hold well, isn't for shine, and held fly-aways at the expense of having gunky hair. I didn't even use that much (see pic) and my hair felt like, well, it had wax in it. I couldn't get a wide-toothed comb through it. At all. And I think it attracted dust? Look at the pic of my comb; I had just washed it and this was from combing my hair ONCE. So, um, I'm thinking I'll keep looking for the perfect product. Thank God it was a freebie sample.

The Sumo Styling Balm gives light control and a soft sheen, perfect for smoothing and frizz control on longer styles. Sumotech has a stronger, matte finish that adds definition and texture, great for shorter cuts. Both are easy to wash out and rework, though a little goes a long way. Overall, Balm is best if you want polish, while Sumotech is ideal for hold and texture.

I like Bumble and Bumble Sumotech alot because you only need a small amount and it is not greasy at all. My hair looks nice and I'm good for the day. I received this product for free from Bumble and bumble for testing and review purposes.

I'm a little sad. I really like Bumble & Bumble products. But for some reason, I don't know if I received a defective one, but it has a really bad smell. It's too bad because I have many products from this brand, and they smell divine and are wonderful.

Great product in a convenient, sleek package. Using a conservative amount, this cream holds hair strong enough to keep it styled without leaving the hair too rigid or “crunchy”. You only use a small amount, and it’s conveniently small enough to chuck in my bag when I’m on the go. There are no offensive or strong odors, and it applies well so there isn’t much leftover on your hands after applying it.

I tried it as a women but it can also be used by men. It’s a large container so it last a long time. It keeps my hair away from my face and back professionally.I would recommend it to others.
