Gold Expressive Eau de Parfum with Vanilla & Sandalwood Travel Spray

Absolutely gorgeous scent, I don’t want to wear anything else. Be careful though, wasps love it too.

I smelled this in store and gave it a spray and fell in love! It is warm, a very and woody but you can’t smell it! I thought I may have just been smelling too many things and went nose blind, but I tried it today and couldn’t even smell it after several spritz. I went to work and asked if anyone can smell it and they said “maybe. It’s very light” while having their face basically on my skin. The milk and juice fragrances are much more fragrant.

It’s such a warm delectable scent. I love it can be for me and my husband.

A light and beautiful spring/summer perfume. I love a good warm, vanilla perfume and Gold delivers just that. The fragrance is nice and light to give you a fresh feeling without losing that darker warmth. While the scent does fade more noticeably than most perfumes, I would pair it with an old sample of Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Coco and a thin layer of vaseline helped the fragrance stick.

I usually do not like perfumes with such rich vanilla notes, but this one is a luxurious vanilla that in combination with the other ingredients is absolutely gorgeous! I wish it lasted longer as I have to reapply it about every 4 to 5 hours. But it has become a favorite and can be worn anytime of year.

First I ordered the discovery set to see which perfume I like best. I had researched the notes of “gold” up front and expected this to be the one. It was the one! What I missed in Blush by Carolina Herrera was the longevity of the scent. It didn’t last. Gold by Commodity is warmer and a bit stronger but at least you can still smell the perfume hours later.Im very happy I found my next long term perfume.

This perfume is a warm, sensual blend of amber, sandalwood, and vanilla, evoking a feeling of soft elegance and cozy sophistication. The amber adds a rich warm depth. Sandalwood introduces a creamy & smooth woodiness adding a touch of luxury. Finally, vanilla weaves through with its sweet, velvety softness. The result is like a rich hotel lobby vanilla. Unsure of how long the perfume truly lasts at the moment, but im definitely obsessed with this scent

Commodity Gold is a beautifully composed fragrance with a major performance issue. On the initial spray, musk and juniper berries dominate, giving it a clean, masculine opening. Shortly after, a light touch of vanilla appears, softening the scent slightly. Once it dries down, Gold becomes subtle and intimate, but also very linear. Unfortunately, the longevity is extremely poor. On my skin, the scent fades within an hour and has little to no projection or staying power. Reapplying doesn’t improve the performance—it simply disappears again. While the scent itself is enjoyable, the lack of longevity makes it difficult to justify the $155 price tag. This is especially noticeable when compared to other Commodity Expressive fragrances. Milk Expressive, for example, lasts 10–12 hours on a single spray. Gold smells lovely, but its performance falls far short of what I expect at this price point.
