Loveeee this product. I use it after putting on my moisturizer so that it’s less intense. This has cute my acne. For reference, I get cystic acne with combination skin. This is a staple and holy grail product for me
i’ve been using the oil version of this product for a while and thought it time to pull the trigger and buy this cream version. it isn’t too strong for my skin and blends in nicely. i’ve been mixing it into my moisturizer to start and haven’t had any issues with my skin barrier being compromised. The only downside is that realized when i try to use this product THEN apply my tinted laroche posay SPF, it ‘burned’ my skin and i put burned in quotes because although it didn’t physically burn, my whole face was peeling for days. not sure if it’s some chemical reaction between the two but just a heads up for anyone if they try to use it in the AM!
This is a very high quality product with "Clean at Sephora" designation, having over 2x the % retinol than my prescription version (plus other protective properties). It goes on smoothly, lasts a long time, and carries all the pore-minimizing, anti-aging, acne-preventative properties that I love about retinol (Retin-A), but this formulation doesn't give notable benefits of others I've tried. Definitely recommend a sample either in-store or through the online BEAUTY OFFERS, as DRUNK ELEPHANT is highly-trusted with excellent skincare for a variety of needs.
I've tried tons and tons of different retinol products but I always come back to this one. Everything about it is amazing. Effective, have seen a vast reduction in my fine lines and wrinkles. Smell, very light, citrus kind of scent. Clean, no nasty ingredients. Does cause a slight tingling which just means its working. I use this once every 4 days with my skin cycling routine. My favourite night is retinol night, my skin feels so soft! I like to apply my eye cream first, followed by this retinol to clean, but dry skin, wait 15 mins before applying additional products. Will repurchase!
Not for kids! At the age of a kid there skin would not be ready for the use of retanal
Had to return this. Found it too stripping and harsh, even with layering moisturizers. If your skin can handle it, go for it! If you need something less irritating, I would suggest a different retinol
Wost prduct for my under eyes. This product gave me bags I never had . I stopped using it and my under eye is back to normal, thank you Jesus
I got a sample of this so I decided to try it (I’m 52). I put the excess on the backs of my hands. I’ve never, ever had such a bad reaction to a product in my life. My skin is peeling and itchy both on my face and my hands. I would never recommend this product to anyone.
