My favorite kerastase shampoo! Better than the og discipline. Leaves my thick coarse hair like silk but clean. I have curly hair and this makes it more soft and manageable for my blow-dry.
If you are looking for volume at your root, this will not be the product for you. However for me I love having pin straight smooth hair. It smooths it down a lot and is an amazing base before styling. It really helped control my hair. It was never a shampoo I cared to try but i’m so glad I did. It helps with frizz, smooths down the hair, gets rid of extra volume. I was told initially my hairstylists it was for curly hair, but that’s not actually true. it’s for thick unruly hair. They have now reformulanted and is part of the discipline line but surprisingly I think it’s actually better now!
I don’t think my hair has ever felt this good! Completely brought out my natural curl and left my hair feeling soft, light, and healthy. I’m really not a fan of the smell, but with these results that’s a small price to pay.
I have fine, dense, wavy, bleached hair and this is such a soothing shampoo. It cleanses well and has a nice scent. On humid days, it's a good one to use because it calms down the "bigness" that my hair becomes in such weather and allows it to lay right without having to use labor intensive blow drying to smooth it out. It's already halfway there. I don't use this every day, since I also use repair shampoos for the bleaching. My stylist recommended this for days when I air dry and let my natural curl show.
Loved this product and what it did to my hair. Nice not powering scent but unfortunately gave me acne on my neck and around my ear. Had to switch to another brand.
I am so freaking happy I went back to sulphate shampoos. This shampoo is DIVINE. My hair felt clean without feeling stripped, and actually did as advertised - my curls were disciplined as in define and even a little hydrated. Some people may not even need conditioner after, but I have mixed hair so I didn't dare
Lathers well and hair feels clean after using. Does not seem harsh. Not sure if it's worth the price though. The conditioners are useless however.
Wow! The difference this makes to my hair is amazing. My hair is straight on top but has some wave/body underneath, it’s frizzy if I don’t heat-style it, and it’s very thick. This shampoo absolutely tames my unruly hair. It feels sleeker, and I could probably go without heat-styling if I wanted to—it’s that much smoother. To me, this shampoo is worth the price.
Too expensive. The ingredient list contains more harmful added ingredients than natural hydrating ones. The scent is barely there. I used it on my natural curls which made them look frizzier and dry. It’s supposed to moisturize and hydrate and smooth out frizzles. Quite did the opposite.
Pricey- yes, but so worth it so far! It actually defined my curls/waves a lot more than I thought it was going to. Not exactly what I wanted but I’m not mad. Usually my hair dries in long loose waves (and frizzy) but it dried curlier than usual but it looks good! Sooo much less frizz than normal and it’s so soft.
