[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Ive been using Olehenriksen vitamin c serum for a bit now and it honestly gives my skin a healthier, more awake look. My skin looks brighter and smother especially in the morning.
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum really did not impress me as much as I would’ve wanted it to. The serum is an off-putting yellow color and has a very heavy artificial citrus scent. Now, color and fragrance are typically things I can look past if the product is good. Unfortunately, I found the consistency to be too tacky for my liking and it took a lot longer to absorb into my skin despite the serum’s claims. After multiple weeks of exclusive and consistent use, I still have not seen much of a difference in my skin. It is hydrating though.
This product has given me contact dermatis three times until I finally figured out what a is causing it. I have not had this with any other Vitamin C serums. I also do not have allergies. This formula is too harsh. Nahtning
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I found this product has a good consistency and smell. The smell isn’t overboard at all. I thought it did provide some results but I wasn’t shook by it. I don’t really need the brightening aspect right now but will in winter I’m sure.
I’ve repurchased this serum multiple times. I have pretty dry skin and use it in my daily routine along with other serums. I think it makes a difference with its brightening benefits. Any hyperpigmentation I have with spots goes away quite quickly and I like the citrusy scent.
I could not believe that all the product in this 1fl container was literally one pump worth of product. Very disappointing in how misleading the packaging is and for the price definitely not worth it. You literally pay for a 1oz container with .34 oz of product in it.
I love how easy the application is on the fact that it does not add a weird color to my face from Vitamin C oxidizing. However, you are able to tell when it has begun to go bad as the citrusy smell begins to have a slight odor change. Besides the smell the ease of use is awesome. Not a fan of droplet applicator.
A few weeks after switching to this product I started getting dry spots on my eye lids and lips, I went to the dermatologist and was diagnosed with eczema. I continued to use very small amounts daily and the spots got worse. Then I finally stopped using for about 4 weeks and my skin went back to completely normal. I decided to try again I figured maybe every other day or 2-3 times peep week but after the first application I had eczema again on the same spots. I do not apply it to my eye lids or lips so must run down throughout the day/night.
Avoid this serum if you have sensitive skin, will give you itchy skin rashes within 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!! This one star is only for their lip gloss…
