Succinic Acid Acne Treatment

I have sensitive skin and was experiencing a severe breakout that I couldn’t get to root of. Within two days of using this product as a spot treatment, I noticed results. COMPLETELY WORTH THE PURCHASE. My skin didn’t dry out like it does after most products. No redness. No burning. The bumps rose to the surface, dried up, and feel off as I washed my face the next morning. I only applied it at night after cleansing my skin and added a moisturizer on top. I’m truly amazed at the results two weeks in, after spending months trying to find something that would help. DEFINITELY WORTH THE TRY!

Placed order on 05/27/2026 only to recieved product expired 05/2026. My fault that i didn't check right away when i received it but this is completely unacceptable. This is product people apply on their face. Sephora needs to be more responsible for checking their products before sending it out

I used the entire product up and used it as recommended. I actually started breaking out more.

Works well with another acne treatment like the Eradikate blemish solution or a pimple patch, but not so well on its own. Leaves a slight green residue on the face so hard to wear during the day under makeu.

Decided to try this out recently and it’s working well enough so far. Maybe not as quick/strong as my usual spot treatment, but it is less drying which is nice since my eczema tends to flare up this time of year. I used this to treat a blemish near my nostril last week which cleared within a couple days, and while i didn’t have an issue with the smell like others have complained about, i did notice some pretty rapid tarnishing on my nose ring, as well as my necklace that i fidget with a lot, which hadn’t been there before. I think it was the sulphur powder as this has never been an issue for me in the past, and it’s only those two pieces that were affected, none of my rings or bracelets since i don’t touch them as often, so i’m pretty sure it’s from this and not something else. Not a knock against how well the product works though, just wanted to give a heads up for anyone else who wears a lot of jewellery or has any facial piercings. Haven’t decided yet if i’ll repurchase it, but i think it could be good product for someone with only mild or occasional breakouts, especially if they have dry or sensitive skin, but might not be strong enough for someone with more persistent acne.

I have searched high and low for a product to help with my hormonal acne around my chin/jawline. The usual acne products weren’t working. At last I found something to help keep things under control when I get flareups!

Works really well for my comedones!! Only downside is the smell, but it's tolerable. Really helps skin clear up quick. I use it when needed rather than routinely.
