I like this product because it doesn't contain peroxide. If you expect it to lighten your hair like sun-in, it won't! I like how it gradually lightens my hair with sun exposure. As one commenter said, I do feel like lemon juice is just as, or potentially more effective, but this works with a hair dryer too (never tested lemon juice with a hair dryer), so it works without sun exposure as well. That said, works better with sun exposure than a hair dryer. I have dirty blonde hair, so I like that this lightens my hair without peroxide, which is used in most other OTC lighteners. I also only seek to play up my highlights, rather than totally change my hair, so maybe that level of result is good for me, compared to other commenters. If you're a natural blonde (of any shade) going in the sun, I'd say go for it! If you're a little darker looking to lighten, I'd recommend another product :)

Really like this, it’s subtle but it definitely lightened my hair
While I don’t think this product can lighten dark hair, it did noticeably enhance my balayage highlights. They looked lighter and brighter.
I compared this with using straight (fresh squeezed) lemon juice, and the lemon juice lightened my hair far more than the Oribe, which lightened it not at all. I tested both for 90 minutes , 3days a
I have the darkest shade of blonde, and my hair gets sun-highlighted every summer on its own. This product is a keep, I can literally see my hair getting lighter blow-drying. But don’t apply too much!! It will get sticky!!
Product didn’t do do any hair lightning and after 3 months the spray pump stopped working but I can’t return/exchange it. Don’t waste your money like I did
It’s way cheaper than just bleaching your hair and if you keep doing the same pieces you can really tell that it is working. Also a tip is to not do it on your roots if they are darker than your lengths and ends
Pretty good. At first, I wasn't too happy with this spray bc I felt like it wore off within 12-24 hours even without washing. Then, I gave it more time. I used it every day at least twice a day and then saw longer lasting results. It turned my yellowish/orange highlights into blonder ones. I do recommend this product for a quick fix and you have to use it at least twice day (morning and night) without washing to see a better result.
