it is a nice product and gives a good slickness for about five minutes then the edges starts to lift, for the price i was not expecting it to work this badly for reference i have type 4a/4b hair but i have low density and i tried so hard to make it work with a lot of methods but it still lifted, honestly would not recommend for people with tighter coils
It will have your edges laid, smells nice but it leaves an ashy residue. I don’t think imma finish this out but maybe use in emergencies when i’m out of edge control that doesn’t get ashy and i reallyyy need smthn.
I have very long, straight grey hair, which I color every two weeks. Because of the course texture of the greys, I get a significant amount of stubborn hair that sticks up at my part. This is the only product I’ve found that keeps those course hairs down.
I’ve been using the edge control for years and it definitely does the job! I use a moderate amount on my edges and it doesn’t leave white residue or flake and the hold lasts all day. The smell is pleasant too. I will say, I’ve noticed it doesn’t hold up as strong when I apply it on my edges during curly/natural days. However, the hold is very strong on my straightened hair! For reference, I have 3C/4A hair
great for edges but leaves a residue and leaves hair feeling dry and weaker
Would have loved it because it works great, but I have silver hair and this product is made with Yellow #5 and it tints my hair. It was no go for me.
I love how it lays down my edges it’s very easy to use and a good consistency I recommend to use this edge control
It does the job of sleeking back your edges but I would not recommend this for long term use, it leaves the hair extremely dry and stiff after only using a bit on the edges and I don’t believe are many are truly
First Time using it, and babyyy, my edges are no longer flying away, I’m super optimistic that as the day passes it will remain the same.
I really enjoyed this product. It’s really easy to work with and a little goes a long way, so it lasts a long time. My only reservation is that it doesn’t hold up that well under heat/sweat. I haven’t tried any other esge gels so I can’t compare it to anything, bitbut I like it overall.
