really 3.5. good for getting rid of brassiness but my hands and completely stained purple. also a little drying so make sure to follow up with a mask or thick conditioner!
I myself should have believed the other critical reviews. This product does absolutely nothing for your hair! It’ll only leave you with stained fingers and nails. A total waste of $$$.
I’ve been using this in tandem with the conditioner, and it dyes not only my hair purple but my scalp is purple, too. I use latex gloves to wash my hair anyway, but I know it would dye my hands. I switched from using Verb to try something new but man I regret that decision. It also makes my hair so dull looking, like my blonde is not vibrant at all, I hate it 😭 People have asked me if I dyed my hair purple, that’s how noticeable it is. I have natural blonde hair that changes lightness with the seasons, getting to platinum blonde during the summer. I am not buying this ever again, do not recommend!
I have been searching for more affordable alternative to the Kerastase purple line. Unfortunately this is not it :( Kind of drying, tangles hair awfully and doesn’t leave that bright hue like the kerastase does.
Destroyed my hair. Stained my skin. Do not buy. Get Kerastase instead.
I hated this shampoo for the fact that it made my hair like a lilac/ sliver color after use .
I didn't notice a difference when using this product. Also it stinks. Stained my hands and tub purple.
I purchased the blond toning shampoo and conditioner with high hopes. I use this brand as my regular shampoo and conditioner and love it. It smells fantastic and leaves my hair silky soft. However, first time I used the blond toning shampoo it turned my hands and hair VIOLET! I couldn't believe it!. It took several shampoos to get my hair back to normal. Although it does smell good and left my hair very soft and hydrated, I can't get passed the purple hair! Very disappointed.
Decided to try a different brand while on vacation. It definitely prevented my white hair from turning neon glow in the dark white... but it did that by turning my hair lavender. Not sure how I feel about that. Never happened with any other purple products.
I’ve tried just about every purple shampoo for blondes and nothing compares to Olaplex. As a bottle blonde, my hair can yellow easily between salon visits and this has this has excellent pigmentation, and a lovely scent. One bottle lasts very long time, so it is a good investment as well. My hair feels hydrated. I’m so glad I don’t have to use a chemical toner between salon visits. This has saved my hair!
