SahaScalp Wild Ginger Purifying Scrub

No exaggeration but this is one of the product I have bought multiple times and it never tends to disappoint me. I use it once a week to remove all the build up in my hair and it leaves me hair so so shiny, soft and clean!

This scrub is effective and cleans the buildup in my hair. I have noticed my hair stays cleaner longer between washes without needing to use dry shampoo. It smells nice too! I pair this with Oribe Signature shampoo

this is my second time buying this product my myself and my husband. I have curly 3C hair. My husband has thick hair and struggles with dry flaky scalp. I use it on wash day when I need to get rid of all that product build up and start fresh. My husband uses it to help exfoliate his scalp and get those flakes out. It has a good grit it to it and I will typically use it at the same time as my wash day shampoo to get a full clean.

I like this scrub - I’ve tried a lot and it’s up there with my other favorites. It has a nice scent and it’s enjoyable to use!

I think I have purchased this Scrub over 4times now…it is simply amazing, have been using it for a year now and I usually follow it up with the K18 Clarifying shampoo and a Hair Mask.

I have long and thick hair, and finding a good scalp scrub that can really cleanse without stripping my hair has been a challenge. The texture of the scrub is perfect—gritty enough to exfoliate effectively but gentle enough not to irritate my scalp. The wild ginger scent is invigorating, leaving a refreshing and calming aroma. After using this scrub, my scalp feels incredibly clean and my hair feels lighter and more manageable. The scrub effectively removes any product buildup and excess oil, giving my scalp a rejuvenated feel. My hair also seems to have more volume at the roots and feels softer and healthier. I know that healthy scalp= healthy hair. I also really appreciate the ingredients are clean and good for my hair!!

Did not work for me, cause more damage to my scalp and dryness.

Love the smell, easy to open. The scrub takes a bit of effort to work into my scalp, and I have found that I need multiple washes to fully get the scrub out (blame the thick and wavy hair).

This scalp scrub didn’t work for me— at all. The texture isn’t dense enough, and the crystals are too fine; they dissolve before they can effectively reach the scalp and do anything useful. Instead, it left my hair feeling greasy and unclean. The scent was also unbearable and nothing like described. It smelled like a powdery, synthetic rose with a hint of sandalwood. I couldn’t detect any of the advertised notes like ginger, jasmine, or vanilla. Overall, this just wasn’t for me—but to each their own

I've never used a scalp scrub before, so I'm not sure if this is the typical experience, but it feels...wrong to use, like rubbing wet sand into my hair. Not very luxurious, and there's no lathering effect so it doesn't spread very well. I have to use more than recommended to get good coverage on my scalp, but if you have short hair I'm sure it would be a lot easier. Because of this, I haven't been using it as a shampoo itself, rather a pre-shampoo treatment. That said, this absolutely loosens things up. If you have product build up or dead skin, this will target that. I don't usually struggle with dandruff but after using this scrub, if I shake my hair out with my fingers I definitely get little flakes of dead skin for the day. And my scalp and hair feel very clean after use, even more so than with a typical clarifying shampoo, which is nice, though it could be stripping if you don't follow up with a good quality conditioner or moisturising mask. For the price I was expecting something finer, more latherable and less 'I'm six at the beach' vibes...but I'll definitely use up this tub.
