I absolutely love Glow Recipe as a brand but this product made me break out every time I used it. The product is also very gelatinous and doesn’t spread smoothly either

I have been using this moisturizer for almost two years now. I bought it as I had destroyed my skin barrier when i first started my skin care routine and had no idea what I was doing. Within a couple weeks of use, my flaking, red skin had cleared up. Two years later, I regularly get compliments on how my skin glows.
I have dry skin and I thought this was pretty hydrating. It has a bit of an awkward smell but it’s not bad. It also does feel a tiny bit greasy especially when paired with other products. It’s not terrible but so expensive I switched to the ordinary and it is amazing

I never write reviews, but I have to for this. For the last 30 years I have lived my life without a morning skin care routine. If I even went near my skin with a moisturizer in the AM, I’d break out. Now I have normal skin, I sometimes get oily/dry patches during a season change or my period, but that is the extent of it. I have acne prone skin however. Now, I got a sample of this and I showered in the morning for once (usually shower before bed) I thought what the heck, I need to put something on my skin and it’s way to early for my night creams! Well hey, that felt pretty good!! My skin looked so nice and plump and even after one use. I continued to use it every day in the morning before work, it’s SO light, and get this, no breakouts!!!!! I have been using my sample size container for about 2 months and still have half of it left. Never have had a breakout, doesn’t make my skin greasy at all. I can’t live with out this!! So love having a morning routine for the first time ever, and my skin looks amazing cause of it!! Woohoo!!
I’m an oily & sensitive skin queen and I LOVE this moisturizer! I use this every day as part of my quick morning skincare (literally just this + sunscreen) and I get compliments all the time saying how my skin is glowing. I got this as a random impulse purchase originally, and now I honestly use it every day. Highly recommend!
