Have been using Mercier tinted moisturizer for yrs. I stopped when they changed colors and formulation. Then I found them again. But when ordering this latest “illuminated” version, was very little. It lifted and flaked by the end of the day. I wish these companies would keave well enough alone. disappointed. The coverage is really limi

I swear I reviewed this product before but for some reason my review was removed… sketchy. I used this for a few hours and my face started feeling dry. When I washed my face it was super red and a small rash on the sides of my face. I threw it in the trash and used cerave for the next week to get rid of the rash. Terrible product.
Gorgeous glowy natural coverage - Great for lightweight looks!
Ick. I absolutely loved the old formula of this product and wouldn’t leave the house without it. The new formula has nearly twice the concentration of chemical sunscreen, goes on thicker and stickier, and has a strong chemical scent. When I want sunscreen, I buy sunscreen. This stuff is just awful and definitely not worth the price.
Very sheer coverage and has some sort of metal glitter flecks in it. Tried to find what exactly are these metal things from the ingredients list, but not a chemist, so... at any rate, I figured out how to deal with this and get the best possible effect - I'm using it ON TOP of the Laura Mercier Dewy Tinted Moisturizer. Instead of a primer, I use a very light moisturizer (Burt's Bees), then layer the Dewy, then finish with the Light Revealer. It creates perfect coverage, luminosity, and stays all day. Problem solved and I will continue with this protocol for sure.
This doesn’t cover well. It either clumps or wipes off they you try to apply another layer doesn’t cover pores. The one that came in. The black tube was way better with the matte finish. 
I used the original tinted moisturizer for years and bought this one when LM reformulated and I HATE it. It clings to/shows dry patches which is wild for a tinted moisturizer, and offers zero coverage rather than light coverage - doesn’t even out redness like the original did. The original formula earned me so many “glowy skin” compliments but this one has shimmer that settles into pores and emphasizes texture. When I tried to build up the coverage it separated completely into patches. This is so expensive and I’m mad I can’t return it.
Years ago, I used the Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer in bisque, but I stopped because it made my face look yellow. I decided to try it again in Light Revealer because I figured it was re-formulated, and it was even worse. Not only is there glitter in the product, but it also made me break out with acne. The color looks orange, and the product expired 2/2025. Ended up returning and would not recommend since I prefer the matte finish.
Lasts for a couple of hours max, and leaves my skin quite dry afterward.
