Love this lip balm! Super hydrating and lasts up to 4 hours per single application. Great for protecting your lips aw well. PLUS they changed the head of the balm so it dosent clog anymore !!!!
With the exception of the issues with the tube's dispenser, I found the product exceptional. I received a sample, and I have been hooked since. What I really like about the balm is that it lasts for hours before having to reapply. It's "buildable," you can wear a light layer, or add a little extra depending on the level of glossiness you'd like. It makes lips look smooth and full. Because of its formula, it ultimately leaves lips soft once it's been removed. BTW, their Lip Mask is also wonderful- too bad its sold out. I just ordered a couple more, I'm not too bothered about potential packaging or dispensing issues.
I was searching for a colored lip product with SPF protection for the summer, and a Sephora associate recommended this one. The lip gloss is nice - glides on and feels good on my lips - but the design of the lip balm tube is totally defective. Like many other reviewers commented, I could not get the product out of the tube after using it for a short while - and there was plenty of lip gloss left inside. The problem I discovered is that after some use, the inner part of the dispenser seems to stop up the opening. After squeezing the tube really hard, slowly, I found a piece of clear, soft, but firm, plastic sticking out of the tube somewhat. I pushed hard so it stuck out further, and I managed to cut it off with sharp nail scissors. Now the tube dispenses lip balm again. But that is totally not acceptable for a $16 product. I found a similar SPF protectant lip gloss by e.l.f. at Target for half that price, with no issues actually dispensing the product from the tube (it has a brush). Cay Skin, do better. Sephora, don't sell this until the brand fixes this issue!
Love this product! But for some reason it gets backed up and then the dispenser stops working. I had to pierce it with a knife just to get some out. This is the second tube I have tried that has done this.
Very hydrating and stays on the lips for quite some time bc it’s a stickier texture but I’ve bought 2 colors of this and both tubes were defective eventually stopped squeezing out product despite cealn clearing
I purchased this lip balm because I’m currently using a lip exfoliating serum at night and needed a lip tint with spf to protect my lips from the sun. With that said, I do genuinely like this lip balm, it does what it’s supposed to do and I like that it’s a thick consistency with a nice texture, without being too sticky. With that said, I’m taking two stars off because this lip balm (in my experience) does not travel well. I brought this lip balm with me on a trip to New York and while on the plane, I tried to use it and the balm immediately started overflowing due to the cabin pressure. Luckily I was able to keep calm and not make too much of a mess, however, none of the other lip products in my purse reacted that way and I ended up losing so much product. So just as a precaution to other people with this lip balm, do NOT use it on a plane or it WILL overflow and you WILL lose product. Learn from my mistake lol
Even after allegedly fixing the applicator, 2 of my lip balms have stopped dispensing product halfway through! Won’t be repurchasing
I bought this before spending the summer in Croatia because I wanted a reliable lip balm with SPF, and it exceeded my expectations. It kept my lips moisturized throughout the day, even in the sun and wind, without feeling heavy or sticky. I also had no issues with the product dispensing from the tube, which isn't always the case with SPF lip balms. The scent is pleasant, the consistency is smooth, and it wears comfortably on its own or under lipstick. I'Il definitely be repurchasing!
