Been using the essence for almost a year now. The process of skin transformation to even skin tone, pores shrinking and firmer is done slowly and consistently. Don’t expect miracles overnight. I myself thought it wasn’t doing much until I stopped using it and saw the huge difference!

I've never written a review on Sephora but this bottle of magic is so impressive! My skin has never looked better... it has done wonders with uneven skin tone and texture as well as shrinking/blurring pores. I'm so glad I gave this product a try. It's definitely the most expensive skincare product I've ever used but totally worth it!
I have normal skin with some T zone congestion and this essence keeps my skin clear soft and smooth. I use twice a day.
After using this a couple times, I thought I loved it. Then I eventually began to have severe reactions, and my face turned very red, and it made my skin blotchy and itchy. Was very sad to see this happen given the price tag.

I recently purchased Augustinus Bader The Essence with high hopes, given the brand's reputation for skincare products. However, my experience with this toner has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. Firstly, I must warn fellow consumers with sensitive skin to steer clear of this product. After just a few uses, my face turned extremely red.. The toner's harsh formula seemed to exacerbate my skin's sensitivity rather than calming and balancing it, as one would expect from a high-end toner. There are plenty of other toners on the market that offer better results and are more suitable for sensitive skin types.
I love this product! I pair it with the cleanser, and follow it with the AB eye cream, rich cream and oil. I did not know if adding the essence to the whole line would make a difference but it did. My skin feels definitely better, less textured and is primed nicely for the rest of the line. I am really happy with this.
Saw all the AB hype and decided to give the brand a try. Have been using this along with the moisturizer and face wash for months now and honestly have noticed no difference. Will be switching back to my old products after I get every penny out of this stuff but not worth the price in my opinion.
