I wanted to love this product but it just didn't work for me. It feels like a thick gel when you apply, its hard to blend into skin. It seems to go on evenly at first but then notice white dry patches after it dries where I then have to rub my skin hard enough to remove. It does seem to keep my makeup in place all day. I just don't know if the application is worth the effort.
This product is almost useless :-( It didn't really blur my pores, other than a TEENY effect beside my nose. A teeny bit of blurring. Oh, and, in one spot it grabbed onto and emphasized a patch of dry skin that wasn't visible before I applied this Milk primer (yup; I did use a moisturizing serum first). Make Up For Ever (MUFE)'s Pore Minimizer Step 1 Primer is V-A-S-T-L-Y better!!! I tried taking a comparison photo (1 product each side) of my nose and the stretched-pores parts of my cheeks on each side of my nose, that also go down beyond my nose a bit. Turns out I kinda suck at close-up selfies 😬 ; sorry! 😞 I DID manage to get a useable shot of the Milk Pore Eclipse Mattifying Primer side 😁 You can see that it looks VERY, um, pore-y still!
This did not mattify my makeup as well as Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I have combo skin. I gave it some stars for the nice texture.
Wonderful light scent. Goes on very smoothly and works well in combo with tinted moisturizer.
Good primer for liquid foundations. This helps mattify by skin and blurs my pores just like it says . Too dry for powder foundations to stick too though. But I will 100% be repurchasing
I need to return this. I found it very difficult to blend my makeup over this primer. The makeup was super was cakey and streaky when applied on top. I'm trying to find a replacement for the now discontinued Peace Out primer, which I loved. This Milk primer gets a big thumbs down from me.
Just ok. I don’t think it does anything spectacular or blur my pores
while this does burn - the burn is mild but lasts for several hours and this does pill a little - be sure to have a dry washcloth handy before putting on makeup, it does work. it makes my skin look smooth under makeup. i was recently noticing some texture for the first time. i will most likely purchase again as the pros outweigh the cons
Honestly, this is the only product I’ve used that really addresses my oily forehead (very combination skin). I only apply it there, but it takes care of the issue all day. I will buy the full size when done with the mini.
I really like this primer. It’s light weight and has made a huge difference in minimizing the oiliness of my skin. I bought the mini size to try, but I will definitely be purchasing the full size once I run out!
