AMAZING!! I have extreme oily hair. I’ve always struggled with finding a shampoo that will help with my oily hair. They would make it worse. This shampoo literally cleans my scalp. LOVEEEEE
Smells so fresh and clean without being overpowering. Added onto my shampoo routine 1x every other week. It makes my scalp feel SO clean and all my usual products (Redken) work and feel their absolute best again. I use a filtered shower head for hard water as well, but this still helps with any left over build up. My hair is porous/wavy, prone to be dry. This did not strip it at all or make it feel crunchy, if anything it made my conditioner and leave-in products work 10x better.
My scalp was often itchy, overly oil, and had acne sometimes. Never found a product can sooth it or control the oil efficiently. This shampoo amazed me with the immediate results. The smell is nice too!
If your hair gets oily in 1-2 days I highly recommend this. I’ve went through 6 bottles already and no other shampoo could compare. I’ve seen a lot of people complain that it doesn’t fix oily hair I would recommend to double wash and also put it only on your scalp.
I love everything about this shampoo. You get the really good deep cleansing of a typical clarifying shampoo and it doesn’t leave your hair dry, dull and moisture less. It opens up your follicles as well and leaves your scalp grease free and able to breath. The scent is light and natural smelling not full of heavy perfumes. I use this shampoo once or twice a week and every time I feel like I’ve just left the salon.
Love that it doesn't stip down my hair, it get my hair clean and hair feels so soft and weightless. The citrus scent us wonderful not too overwhelming and it has a great lather. A little goes a long way.
This shampoo smells great and lathers well in the shower. It rinses completely clean and my hair doesn't feel stripped. It styled well and held a curl. My hair was less oily the next day and I was able to shake out and wear on day 2 without much maintenance. I loved this shampoo, my long hair felt nourished and clean!

I really enjoyed using Shu Uemura Pure Serenity Deep Cleanser. It didn't dry my scalp out but it did keep away excess oils. At first I thought it had a strong scent but I actually really like the scent plus it does slowly fade. It soaps up nicely and didn't strip my hair of oils and doesn't dry it out like other deep cleansing shampoos. I love Shu Uemura Pure Serenity Deep Cleanserso much and definitely recommend it to anyone.
