FlexStyle® Hair Blow Dryer & Multi-Styler with Diffuser

I've been loving the Shark FlexStyle with the curling attachments! It's so much easier to use than I expected and gives me a smooth, bouncy blowout with curls that actually last. I also appreciate that it dries and styles my hair at the same time, which saves me so much time getting ready. My hair feels soft, looks shiny, and has way less frizz compared to when I use a traditional curling iron. Definitely one of my favorite beauty hacks. One of my worst purchases. My $30 drying brush that I’ve had for 4 years does a better job. I tried to take advantage of the SPRINGSALE, and honestly, it was a complete waste of money. I returned it the day after I got it. I had read reviews mentioning that the bristles were falling out, super loud, and I thought maybe those people just got a defective one because things happen. But after trying it myself, it seems like that’s actually a common issue. The quality did not match the price at all. The attachments felt flimsy, the styling results were mediocre, and it took longer to achieve results than with cheaper tools I already own. Even the diffuser was disappointing and didn’t distribute airflow evenly. For a product marketed as a multi-styler and blow dryer combo, I expected much better performance, especially from Shark Beauty. Save your time and money and invest in something else..

It seems to lack power and heat. A cheaper blow dryer does the job. My hair is medium thick and short so maybe this is not a good fit.

Bought this for my mom. Shortly after the warranty ended it bit the dust. She didn’t tell me until a few weeks later. She loved it until it just stopped working.

I'm in my 30s and have never owned any hair tools at all including hair dryers that were not from the drugstore. I have no skill whatsoever in styling my hair, and it's generally a frizzy mess that I pull back into a ponytail. But I did research on different dryers and stylers and finally decided on this one. I based that decision on the reviews of it as a hair dryer alone. I figured even if all else failed and I was unable to learn any of the styling options, at least I would have a nice hair dryer :)! Now that I've used it for a couple of months, I can confirm that the hair dryer part is amazing. Until I used this, I honestly thought that as long as you used heat protectant, drying your hair was more or less the same across all price ranges. But that was definitely not the case with this. I can use this simply as a blow dryer with no attachments and nothing but my other hand to assist and my hair comes out softer and far less frizzy than it ever did with my little travel size Conair I'd been using for years! As far as the attachments go, the curlers haven't worked as well as I hoped. My hair will 'boing' out of it once I pull the curler downward, but by the time I finish just one side of my head, it's almost completely flat. My understanding is that I shouldn't think of them as a curling wand, but more just like a tool to get an easier blow out look with a bit of a curl or flip at the ends. Not what I expected, but not terrible, either. I have medium-long fine, thin 2b-ish hair for reference. The oval brush I actually kinda knew how to use, since I'd had a Revlon blow dry brush, and it worked the same as that did. My hair doesn't get stuck as often with this one, though. The diffuser works better than the cheap plastic one that I had been using, when I decide to scrunch my hair and let it stay wavy. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend this to other beginners like me who want a decent quality tool that will make styling easy.

I received this Shark Styler as a complimentary product in exchange for my honest review. To be honest, I loved it. It dries hair very fast compared to the Dyson I own. However, I don’t love the brush on the Shark—OMG, it pulled out so much of my hair. I wish the brushes were softer for fine hair like mine. That said, I love how the Shark creates curls. The reason for giving it only 4 stars is because of the brush, which I use daily and don’t like. But I absolutely love everything else about it.”

VERY loud, wearing my AirPods helps. Other than that it’s easy to use and I like the way my hair looks when I use it.

The shark beauty flex style does in 10 minutes what my expert stylist does in 30. Constantly getting asked if I just got my hair done and I’m just over here feeling like I’m making money on this purchase purchase. purchase. Love it

I bought this in July 2024, 20 months ago. It’s now overheating and shuts itself off constantly. An appliance this expensive and highly rated ought to last at least two years. Disappointed 8n Shark for producing an inferior product.
