After using this for 6 months, it’s just average. Could be my hair texture/type but I am never able to get my roots straight with this, no matter how close to my scalp I get. My hair comes out frizzy and puffy, with no curl at the bottom. I’ve watched numerous videos on how to use this device but my hair never comes out right.
Love this! The blow dryer is surprisingly powerful, the accessory parts all work fabulous. I can honestly say it has replaced most of my styling tools that I use for wet/damp hair. I did dock a star for losing strands of hair at the join where the attachments connect to the base. Overall, love it.
I am obsessed with the Shark FlexStyle Ion Curl! It dries my hair in so much less time, making it incredibly easy to achieve a salon quality blowout at home. My hair is left frizz free with beautiful, bouncy curls that look amazing every time. I also love all of the different attachments, they make styling so versatile. One of my favorite features is being able to pause between sections while getting my next strand of hair ready, which makes the whole process even more convenient. Overall, this is an amazing product, and I am absolutely in love with it. I highly recommend it!
Love this hairdryer ….when it works. I’ve had two now and both have lasted only a year. Even when cleaning the filer regularly, it randomly stops working and then eventually dies.
I loved this while it lasted, but it conked out after 2 years. That's way too short a lifespan for an expensive hair dryer.
I purchased this as an upgrade to my Revlon brush dryer after a Sephora associate recommended it over the Dyson Airwrap. I’ll note that I did not buy this for the curling barrels—I purchased it specifically for the brush attachment to create smooth blowouts. Unfortunately, it did not work well for my hair. It felt just as damaging as the Revlon, but with worse results. My hair was left frizzy with no bounce or shape, and the bristles were also falling out. I have long, fine hair, but a lot of it, and this simply did not meet my needs. If you have a similar hair type and are mainly buying it for the brush attachment, this may not be the best option.
Not sure why there’s so many bad reviews. I’m not one who would ever leave a review with a photo. I’m terrible at doing my own hair. Tried this so I didn’t have to spend Dyson money. I have thick, extremely wavy, frizzy hair. I watched the videos & gave myself a perfect blowout. I curled it as well & it worked great. It did take me two tries to get this result. Love it!
This is not a quality product. It will trip and overheat even when you do not use it on the highest heat setting. The money is not worth the only two years it will last. I recommend you continue researching. The money can go toward a different brand or some other item of value.
I LOVE this dryer. It’s made such a difference when it comes to styling my hair. I can straighten my curly hair and the style will last several days even with the high humidity here in Florida. I love this dryer’s versatility. I can straighten and do a beautiful blowout in less than 10 minutes. And that’s without rough drying.
Have been holding off buying an all in one hair tool for awhile and glad I settled with this one. I was inbetween this and the Dyson and ended up loving the flexstyle. My hair has never looked or felt better and it’s so easy to use. Only thing I would say is don’t love is I wish it was a bit quieter but overall I’m very happy with my purchase.
