Nutritive Hydrating Shampoo for Medium to Thick Dry Hair

I bought this shampoo about a year ago and stopped using it when | cut my curly grey hair into a pixie. I cut it because it had become so dry and frizzy. I started using it again a few months ago and my scalp started getting really itchy and felt irritated. I never checked the ingredients. First on the list is sodium lauryl sulphate- SLS. In a "luxury" shampoo. Shame, Kerastase. Into the bin with you!

I’m honestly so conflicted. This shampoo makes my hair incredibly shiny and hydrated. I’m on my fourth bottle, and it gives me the best hair I’ve ever had. But I think I have to switch back to Moroccan oil. The scent is just awful. Even though the results are amazing, it seems to be causing skin reactions, and I get headaches from the smell, so I can only assume it’s the fragrance. I saw someone compare it to Dial soap or an industrial cleaner, and that’s honestly spot on. I really wish they would address this, because otherwise it’s the best shampoo I’ve ever used—and my mom’s a hairdresser, so I’ve tried a lot of high-end products.

I was really disappointed in this. For the price point and quantity, I was looking for a WOW effect. This felt like any other regular shampoo and conditioner. Kenra has lots of great products imo.

I purchased the nutritive shampoo and hair mask. Made my scalp itchy. The scent bothered me all day. I finally figured out what it smells like… It reminds me of the smell of calamine lotion. Ugh…No thank you!

I am soooo not picky and had to return this set immediately! The shampoo doesn’t lather and my hair felt drier after use! This is an expensive “hydrating” product and made my hair worse somehow? Big thumbs down!

So far this is the best shampoo I ever used. I have dry curly hair and I feel this shampoo is so gentle to my hair. I feel how soft my hair gets when I’m washing it. It really gives what it promises.

In my personal opinion, the Rolls Royce of shampoos. I have used the Kerastase Nutritive line off and on ever since it came on the market many many years ago. Mostly the shampoo and deep conditioner. It always reverts my dry, coarse hair back to soft, healthy and shiny. A little goes a long, long way too. Kerastase is extremely concentrated, it’s not meant to lather a ton, and I use about a quarter and a half size amount for my almost waist length, thick hair. I have zero complaints about this product. Also, glad to see Sephora carries it, because I was having trouble finding it for a while!!

I used this line three years ago and absolutely loved it. Repurchased it, and I think it may have ruined my hair. The shampoo literally strips my hair of any moisture and make it feel stringy. I’m so confused…

Wow I was about to give up on high end shampoo but this is amazing!! I personally don’t find the scent harsh and it didn’t break me out at all. My scalp feels so clean and my hair is so soft!!
