Faded my dark spots so fast and my skin feels tighter

I have sensitive acne prone skin. Purchased because adapalene dries me out & burns. The routine I did: Week 1 - Sunday & Wednesday (noticed zero irritation or drying) Week 2 - Sunday, Tuesday, & Friday (noticed zero irritation or drying, somehow super moisturized tho) Week 3 - Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday (noticed zero irritation or drying, skin felt thick and oily) Week 4 - applied nightly (have noticed slight differences in depth of wrinkles & texture, skin is super moist now) Only con as others have mentioned… makes face yellow (is gone by morning) but pillow cases are YELLOW. So is product just transferring? Switched to black pillow cases but now am wondering if product is staying on skin long enough. I apply 1-2 hours before bed.

I used this product for about two months, starting slow with one use a week and working up to three times a week. It ruined my skin. I haven’t had acne this bad since I was postpartum 13 years ago. I’ve discontinued use but still battle with hyperpigmentation

Been using this for years, it used to be under $10. Supper affordable, it then increased to $11 which I wasn't too mad but within TWO MONTHS it has gone up to $15! absolutely not, that is ridiculous and not everyone can afford that and I certainly can't.

After about half a bottle I can't say I see any changes/results on my face, but I can confirm 4 ruined white pillowcases.

I actually purchased this retinal serum many months ago, but honestly, I haven't been using it consistently enough to judge the results. Since consistency is key with retinoids, I am committing to a proper routine starting tomorrow. I plan to use it twice a week at night to see how my skin adapts and to track the progress. The formula feels nice, and I am excited to finally give it a fair trial and see the long-term benefits! (I'm giving it three stars because I'm still not sure.)

Finished a bottle using it twice a week and honestly? Since I started using The Ordinary for money reasons my skin has looked worse. The hype for cheap anti aging products is fake lol. I’ll be going back to higher end products

Although it has some moisturizing properties, it does nothing for wrinkles. The yellow color of the product makes your face yellow and stains your pillow cases, which won't wash out.
