This was my holy grail for years. She Uemura changed the formulation. I have a lot of hair but it is fine and it leaves my hair lifeless with residue.
Unfortunately this didn't work for me. It dried my hair out and made it very hard to brush through. Smells amazing though.
Formula has changed and smells terrible. Will be returning.
I am so disappointed in the formula change! The scent isn’t as pleasant as it was before and it takes more product to lather, but doesn’t clean the hair as well as it did before. Please bring the old formula! back!
I’ve been using this shampoo for years, but the new formulation that just came out is of lesser quality. Takes more to lather up and is not as moisturizing as the original. I miss the original fragrance too.
The new formula is so disappointing. Left my hair dull and dry. Color was stripped. I used the old shampoo and conditioner for 8 years, I’m so upset that they changed the products. Now I need to find a new product line
Formula change makes this no longer a gentle color safe option, L’Oréal influence cheapened it. Here is excerpt from cosmetic chemistry professional review and advice of C14-16 Olefin sulfonate. “As a powerful surfactant, sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate can disrupt the skin barrier, creating an uptick in water loss from skin’s uppermost layers. Together, this can cause dryness and sensitization even from brief exposures. Overall, there are many gentler cleansing agents to choose from when formulating a skin care product, so we generally advise avoiding this one if it’s among the primary surfactants in a face wash or shampoo.” This is the main cleansing agent used now, before they used the gentle truly sulfate free versions such as SODIUM COCOYL ISETHIONATE, DISODIUM LAURETH SULFOSUCCINATE, SODIUM LAURYL SULFOACETATE, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, SODIUM LAUROYL SARCOSINATE. Such a shame to ruin a perfect product. No longer buying this one as I prefer to keep my hair color and not dry out my hair!

New formulation is horrible! I tried it even though the smell is horrendous! Major headache and sinus issues. I LOVED the formula before this change. It made my hair so soft!!! I’ve used this one and the Kerastase chroma Blaine. For years! Bkerastase changed theirs too. years. veins for years!
Highly perfumed & caused breathing issues/sneezing/stuffy nose. Made my hair feel dry like straw. I also developed a rash up/down my neck/scalp. DO NOT BUY! Sephora would not refund me
