SinglePass Smooth X Professional Flat Iron with Extra-Long Ceramic Plates

I have always wanted a hair straightener so I was very excited to get this. I really like it except for some things 1. It tugs on your ends so there's a high chance of breakage. Please apply a good heat protectant. 2. it kind of gets hot all around the plates (even outside and the top) so be careful and do not burn yourself like I did. 3. It is actually not one pass, you have to go over atleast 2 times (maybe 3). Unless you have a very high heat. 4. It is not smooth. If your hair is even slightly dry and dehydrated it will pull on your hair. there are definitely better hair straighteners but this is a good starter I think. Perhaps these issues happen to all hair straighteners and I'm new to the straightening game so I think they are a big deal.

I should have listened to the reviews, this flat iron pulls out your hair. I used it once and returned it.

I really wanted to love this but it PULLS YOU HAIR!! every time I would pass the straightener it would pull my hair and make that noise I just can’t stand. I had to return it.

I’m not sure if it was the K18 heat protectant or this T3 SinglePass Smooth X Professional Flat Iron with Extra-Long Plates, but my hair came out so smooth and straight—like I’d just left the salon! I was able to get each section sleek with just one pass, which never happens with my thick hair. This flat iron cut my styling time down and left my hair looking healthy and frizz-free. At this point, I only need to visit my stylist for a trim! Highly recommend!

This deceivingly nice-looking straightener stopped working less than a year after I bought it. The straightener no longer heats up, and I have been very careful with it. I contacted T3 (via their online Warranty Claim form) because they say there is a limited two-year warranty, but I don’t expect to hear from them based on what I have since read from others online. I obviously expected more from such an expensive straightener. I am frustrated for myself and for the planet — I don’t buy electronic devices lightly and I expect the ones I do buy to last.

The plates are definitely longer than traditional straightener plates, which I appreciate. It heats up very quickly. The plates touch and straighten the hair very well in one pass (love that). It's easy to work the hairs in awkward places, like around the face and ears. The heat level is very even from what I've noticed, which also assists in straightening in one pass. The unit itself is well weighted, very even, so it's rather comfortable to hold. This is the most pricey straightener I've purchased, but the reviews sold me, and I'm glad I bought it. This can be used for curling hair as well. Personally I've found that curls with a straightener last longer, so this was a worthwhile purchase for me and it could easily replace all my other tools aside from a hair dryer. Very pleased with this, it's worth a try IMO!

BELIEVE THE RECENT REVIEWS. Purchased during the April 2025 sale. Ignored the reviews saying it pulled hair. The first time I ran it through it a section of hair it sounded like sandpaper - ripped my hair out. Returned it the same day it was delivered and the ordered the GHD original.

I got this straightener after my straightener I had for years finally broke down. I love how smooth this straightener glides on your hair. I use it for curling or making waves and it’s so easy to use. You don’t need to use too much heat and doesn’t damage your hair

The on/off button broke after very little use which is very disappointing
