I’ve loved this mascara since it launched but this new tube is terrible! I’m unsure if the formula changed, but it flakes horribly now. It used to be 10/10 perfection. What a shame.
Wanted to love this product… It caused me to have contact dermatitis after only 2-3 uses… Glad I found out sooner than others that this can happen with sensitive skin. Others took months to figure it out.
This is one of the best mascaras I’ve ever used. I don’t understand why the reviews are so low. It gives me the most amazing faned out volume and length that just looks so pretty and makes my eyes look more open. And it doesn’t transfer or smudge. It dries down but it still remains feathery instead of getting hard like some mascaras and still keeps its hold. I’m obsessed! I would say give it a try despite the negative reviews. I seriously love it.
It took me NINE MONTHS to figure out that this product was the reason my eyes have now suddenly completely dried out. Nine months ago, I developed a rash at the crease of my left eye and then above the lid of my right eye. I had to go in to the dermatologist three times to try and figure out how to treat it. First, I thought it was expired mascara, then I thought it was the new eye cream product I was using, then I thought it might be that my skin is changing as I get older and suddenly developed an allergy to makeup remover wipes I've used forever...and then I finally started suspecting this product and came here to read the reviews. It took me forever to suspect this product because I had several other products that I could have suspected at the same time AND because the reactions weren't immediate. I would get develop rashes at the outer crease and above my eye--one of them has been repeatedly so bad that the skin looks potentially permanently darker. The dermatologist couldn't figure it out; I've had to use so much antibiotic cream and hydrocortisone for relief; the mascara dried out my eyes so bad that I now have dry eye issues. I have NEVER had allergic reactions to products before or sensitive skin in any way. They got red, swollen, itchy, and dry. Now that I know (though months too late), I'll toss this and have to go through an eye makeup detox to try and fix. SO disappointed in this line, won't buy anything from it ever again (the lip paint is so drying, too.)
I received a sample/trial size mascara and was excited to try out. After a couple days of use, I developed intense rashes around my eyes. Once that resolved, my eyes were inflamed for severaldays.
Nope. Smudgiest mascara I’ve tried, transferred like crazy. This is why I shouldn’t deviate from what I know.
I loved the way this mascara looked after every application however I developed a rash/periorbital irritation after using it several times. I’ve never had a reaction to any facial or makeup products until this mascara.
I thought this mascara was wonderful, but after using it for a bit, I developed a rash on my eyelid. First mascara I’ve ever reacted to in my life and I’m 41. I thought it was just me until I saw all the reviews here.
After two weeks of using got an allergic reaction along lashes. Found similar comments here and on Reddit threads. Hope I can get a refund and this product should be recalled.
Has someone who has a very difficult time finding a mascara that works, this one has been amazing! I have short and stubby lashes and all the highest rated mascara just don't work for me. Then I found this mascara. I only need to use about two or three coats to get length and volume versus other mascara where I feel like I need to use like 50 coats to get them to look Long. If you have difficult lashes like I do, give this one a try
