Givenchy Rose Perfecto Shine Serum Lip Oil Stick

I LOVED this so much that I bought another one. After using them off and on for about a week or so, I realized that they were causing my lips to feel sunburnt and chapped and a little like I was having an allergic reaction. I read the reviews and ingredients and realized that a few others said it caused their lips to feel very dry even though they are so emollient and that they might be plumping. I can’t do plumping lip products and realized that this might have that. Anyway, I’m so sad that these are the products that cause me issue cause the packaging and immediate formula feel so nice on the lips.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Admittedly I’m a gal that rarely uses lipstick, so when I do, it has to be high quality. Givenchy meets that mark! The formula of this shine serum lipstick is silky smooth and pigmented and applies beautifully. I’m not very adventurous with makeup, so I love that the rose perfecto is a nice, neutral rose color. Not to mention the PACKAGING!? Adorable and luxurious! I love the leather cap to the lipstick. Highly recommend!

LOVE this lip color!!! I’m not usually a lipstick girl, i lean more towards gloss. This has a perfect shine and it doesn’t wear off easily! The 110 color is also a great match for me.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] WOW! So sleek and luxurious ! The pink leather and the silver hardware add a very elegant touch to the Givenchy lip oil experience. My shade, 117 was a gorgeous brown, dusty, rose hue with a hint of shimmer. The pigmentation is perfect for work or for late fall afternoons to grab coffee or stroll through the city. I also glam this up with a darker lip liner. I have received so many compliments! As far as the formula, I find it very smooth, creamy and hydrating, thanks to its serum-like texture and “good for your skin” ingredients. The smell is very light and luxuriously fresh.

Loving the product, great shine, not so glossy that it looks like plastic, a very natural look, long wear. But for the price point holy cow the actual gloss packaging is garbage. Came out of the box broken. Literally the stick is in pieces and comes apart in my hands, and if I don't hold it 'just so' it won't open, or close, and comes apart. I can see the inner workings of the twist/turn system. So, the oil stick product itself is awesome. But I won't be buying it again, and I don't know how much longer I'll be able to use it considering what a pain it is to even apply to my face without finding pieces of it scattered in my purse.
