Chronos Max Styler

Mixed feelings because I do love the straightener when it works however, I have bought two of these and they are both crapped out at the one year mark. For a $300+ straightener brought from two different stores and only lasting a year is unfortunate.first one lasted 9 months second lasted to 12 months. the device abruptly starts beeping and flashing a red light, refusing to heat up.

I had the Dyson Airstrait prior to this and I can say that GHD is so much better. I have thick, curly hair and this styler made my hair sleek and straight super quick and the results are so much better. very happy with this product t and

It’s very easy to use and curl your hair and makes no sounds or squeaks. No pulls just an easy glide, it requires two passes for my hair. Easy to handle, and the plates are so smooth! It took me 30 minutes to straighten and curl and achieve a blowout type of look with this device, I will be using for as long as its lifetime 😬

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I recently tested the ghd Chronos Max Professional Styler and approached it with high expectations, especially as someone with 3B curls who relies on tools that can deliver both efficiency and real straightening power. There are definitely strengths to this styler. It heats up very quickly, which is a major convenience, and the plates are exceptionally smooth. I appreciated that it didn’t snag or pull my hair at all. However, in terms of performance on my curl pattern, it didn’t fully meet my needs. I wasn’t able to get close enough to the root to achieve a sleek, polished finish, and I had to go over each section several times just to reach a straight-ish result. With no option to increase the temperature for a stronger heat setting, it simply didn’t provide the level of power required to straighten my 3B hair effectively. Considering the price point, I wouldn’t recommend this tool for curly girls with tighter textures. In my opinion, the ghd Chronos Max Professional Styler is far better suited for hair types ranging from 1A to 2C, where less heat and fewer passes are needed to achieve a smooth style.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Nice flatiron. The design is nice and easy to hold. It heats up fast and holds the temperature. Plenty hot for my naturally curly/wavy hair to straighten. Very well made and I like that the cord rotates. Only downside is side is a few strands of hair would get stuck in the plates and pull or rip but not a deal breaker.

The flat iron heated up very quickly. I was worried because my hair is natural and color treated but my hair went back to normal after I washed it. Flat iron is definitely on the high-quality side as my hairdresser also recommended this flat iron over all other flat irons.
