I loved my supersonic when it worked. When it malfunctioned, the warranty was apparently non-existent, and I was told to send it in at my expense to get a quote for the cost to fix it. Go with the DryBar, mine is still in great shape 8 years after purchasing.
It did not come with the curl diffuser now I have to call Dyson to see why. The claim that it reduces heat when getting close to your scalp is a lie or my product is not working.
Waste of money, stopped working after 1 year!!! This is my second dyson supersonic and both stopped working.

My Dyson stopped working 13 months after purchasing from Sephora. I am extremely disappointed in the product.
I purchased this during the sale to keep at my vacation home. It’s awful, not half as good as the original which I still have. The product is very heavy, I have no idea what the intuitive benefit isis, and the lag in response time is annoying
It works as your standard hair dryer: which is why you shouldn’t spend your money on this. I got it as a gift for Christmas, super excited. I have thick hair and I was hoping this would make me not have to spend 30 minutes drying my hair. Unfortunately, I had to spend the same time, if not more. It doesn’t always work and works inconsistently; sometimes the air is hot, sometimes it’s cold. The scalp protection mode never worked. The idle mode didn’t work. And the velocity is strong, but almost… too strong? I’d try to put it down and it’d just fling off all the stuff on my vanity. My least favorite part is that if I were to point it at my head incorrectly. It would mat up my hair into a huge knot I’d have through before continuing. Pretty product, I wished it would work because if it did: it’d probably be the best dryer on the market. But, don’t pay 500-600 dollars on this because it’ll disappoint you.
Do not waste your money. Horrible customer service and product. I have gone through 2 hair dryers in 2 years. They replaced the first one and within one year the replacement stopped working. They offered to send a 3rd hairdryer and it has taken over a month for them to get me a refurbished one. They keep telling me the product they were going to send is out of stock. Very poor communication and they will not expedite my order and they have had my broken one I sent back for over a month. I have spent hours on hold and taking to their poor customer service team. I would expect better service for a $500 hairdryer. This product is a piece of junk. I have never spent over $100 on a hairdryer and they have lasted for years. Dyson does not last!
I've had this blow dryer for 6 months and it only works sporadically. Tried troubleshooting everything the Dyson website says to no avail. I can't believe I spent over $500 on this junk.
