Gross Taste
Maybe this product is protecting my lips but each time I attempt to wear it I the taste gets into my mouth and I wipe it off. It tastes like a bitter chemical. So odd because it smells great but there’s a mismatch. I’m torn between trying again and tossing it for my own sanity.

I love the idea of a shiny lip balm in a tube that won’t melt like a stick and has SPF. Even a hint of color is nice. But the “Vanilla Soft Serve” tastes absolutely horrible. More like cotton candy. Ew.

Love, but the taste is sooo bad
I was recently diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, and I was super excited to find a LIP product with SPF. I love the way this gloss goes on and how it looks. But the taste…is so bad. I’m really disappointed, because I thought I had found a new staple for myself. You could just put regular sunscreen on your lips and have it taste the same. The taste didn’t dissipate for hours. I want to love this SO much. Supergoop, please work on the taste and I will be a loyal customer forever!

I have tried a bunch of sunscreen lipglosses and I couldn’t tolerate the taste. Might as well eat a tube of sunscreen most of the time. This had a strong vanilla scent that managed to minimize the nasty taste. It was still there a bit but not nearly so bad as it could be.
