The Dyson Co-anda2x is really good, for my first Dyson ever i really do like it. The dryer attachment dries my hair in a few minutes to about 80% dry, whereas my old one from TJ maxx would take me about 5-7 minutes. The attachments work really well and do their job. My only little thing with it is that the round brush attachment caught a few of my hairs when I first tried it, also the curling barrels caught a few (but they came out of the barrels when the Dyson auto released, i think that the round brush was user error), alongside the dyson gets very hot when using. The straightening attachment gets super hot when finished, almost unbearable to touch and so does the actual Dyson around the lock/unlock piece. Not sure if this may be a my Dyson issue or an all Dyson issue but it can get very hot. Other than that honestly it’s super good and I really do like it!

Got it as a bday gift. I have wavy thin brown hair. Even only with the dryer applicator my hair looks like out of salloon. I dont have any frizzy hair anymore. All the brushes working so strong that Ive never seen on any other brand. You dont even need to do anything because it grabs your hair. Any spray or leave in conditioner is must. (before or after drying your hair if you are styling with air wrap or straightener.)
Unless you’re going to make this insanely expensive product able to work with converters/adapters in other countries, don’t bother us with this nonsense.
I own original airwrsp. Thought I’d upgrade to have a second. Kept dying on me. Brush attachment small. Very disappointed in quality. My old airwrap is still going thank goodness. Hopefully they improve a newer model soon.
I really wanted to love this product. In theory, it’s a significant improvement over the original Airwrap that I’ve owned for years. It has much more power, grabs the hair more easily, and styles faster and more effectively. Unfortunately, the product itself has been incredibly unreliable. Like many other reviewers, I experienced the red flashing light issue. Dyson replaced my original machine under warranty, but the replacement has developed the exact same problem. I also have to update the software almost every time I plug it in and turn it on, which shouldn’t be necessary for a premium styling tool at this price point. The even bigger issue is the brush attachment. It failed on my original machine, and the same attachment has now failed on my replacement. Dyson currently doesn’t have replacement parts available, and there doesn’t seem to be a long-term solution for what appears to be a recurring design or manufacturing issue. If this product worked as intended, I would absolutely recommend it because the performance is excellent. But after experiencing the same failures on two different machines, I can’t recommend spending this much money on a product that appears to have ongoing reliability issues. I’m hoping Dyson addresses these defects, and I’d also like to see Sephora advocate for customers who purchased what is otherwise a promising but currently flawed product.
Dumbest product ever. I had the first generation model that lasted me for 7+ years and I’ve had this model for a year and it stopped working on me. The filter constantly needs to be cleaned and the unit just shuts off even after cleaning it. Now the machine refuses to turn on. Worst product ever
Horrible. I’ve had the machine for 5 months and it starts blinking red and saying that the filter needs to be cleaned even though I’ve cleaned it many times. Round brush sucks. I’ve heard the id is much better.
I’ve had this for only a few weeks and the brush attachment is broken. The teeth of the brush separated from the metal parts holding it in. Very disappointing. I had the original air wrap for 5 years and there were no issues (until the motor died). At this price, that should NOT happen.
I never got to use it. It would turn on for 10 seconds and then turn off. I was online with Dyson team trying to troubleshoot it for hours. They finally gave up and told me to take it to their store for a specialist to look at it. Nearest Dyson store is 3 hours away. I just returned it back to Sephora. What a headache
I have, in the past, had good luck with Dyson Hair tools. I did read a review on this particular one, I thought it might be a fluke, or perhaps buyers remorse? I know how to take care of of it, and I maintain it regularly, but it continues to shut down and fails to operate. It’s now beyond repair warranty and it’s expensive to repair. I have to warn you that I think this is. Change in product quality and lifetime expectancy. That totally diminishes its upfront costs. My 15 year old Dyson still get the job done.
