Defines my 2b-2c waves like no other gel I’ve used. I scrunch this through my hair after the styling balm & diffuse. With this routine, my waves last for days & don’t get frizzy even after sleeping. Hair has gotten shinier since using too :) Bonus points for the smell! The scent description is so accurate.

This gel really helped remove frizz from my curly hair and was easy to apply. With 3c curls, it is hard to find a gel that really works, but this one surprised me with how strong it held my curls without breaking my hair.

I haven't used gel for years because in general it was too heavy and sticky for me. Well, not surprised given who developed this product...I LOVE IT!! I have naturally curly hair that tends to frizz any time there is humidity in the air. Therefore, I always blow my hair out. I tried the recommendation of the creator of the product, which was to apply the gel to my wet hair. I can't believe it....my natural curls look gorgeous and I don't have to tug on my hair with heat anymore. It is great to have an affordable product that actually works. I feel that the creator Chris McMillan really wants to share his trade secrets with the general public, and wants everyone to feel the joy and confidence of a good hair day. WOWZER!
This gel is so good! This is my first time using/ hearing about this brand and I love it! It’s super light and doesn’t make my hair feel heavy, while still holding up! Definitely worth a try especially if you have curly hair!
I’ve been using Chris McMillan The Gel for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really impressed. It gives my hair strong hold without that overly stiff or crunchy feeling that a lot of gels tend to leave behind. What I like most is that it keeps my style in place throughout the day, even in humidity, but still lets my hair move. The texture is lightweight and easy to work through damp or dry hair, and it doesn’t flake, which is a big win. I also noticed it gives a nice bit of shine without looking greasy. For sleek looks or taming flyaways, it works beautifully. That said, if you’re someone who prefers a super soft, no-product feel, this may not be your go-to—it definitely has that “styled” finish. Also, depending on how much you use, it can take a bit of effort to wash out completely.
