This powder foundation is awesome! It evens out my complexion and make my skin looks so much better. Perfect for everyday use. The kabuki brush provides good coverage. I bought the Golden Medium.
I’m not a foundation girl but Sephora had this on sale for $19 so I gave it a try. Amazing… doesn’t feel like you are wearing that heavy traditional foundation and really evens out your skin. Couple it with her blush…perfect!
I read through reviews before purchasing about it darkening. I went with the color fair and it was still too dark. Light coverage with a blurring effect on it's own. I also tried with foundation and it did a great job at blurring. I have dry, mature skin. I always use a moisturizer on my face. Did not leave it patchy.
This basically replaced my other foundations. I prefer to conceal first, then just use this. It somehow looks better the longer it’s on my skin. (Which is unheard of!). Unlike any other foundation I’ve ever used. Does not look or feel powdery at all. It just looks like beautiful skin. I don’t think I’m the target market for this product but I’m SO happy I tried it!
I ordered this product expecting to be disappointed based on some of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be ordering again. I don't like foundation but wanted something light to brighten up my skin and this has done exactly that. It gives the most perfect and effortless glow. I also love the brush.
One thing I think people are overlooking with this foundation is that it’s a very finely milled baked powder, and the way you apply it really changes the finish and coverage you get. I used the kabuki brush that comes with the set by lightly swirling it into the product and gently pressing it into my skin, which gave me a beautiful light-to-medium coverage that looked very natural and smooth. I also tested it with a sponge, and that definitely gave me more coverage while still looking soft and skin-like. Both application methods gave me a flawless finish without looking cakey or feeling drying on my skin, which is something I really appreciate in a powder foundation. It blurred everything nicely while still letting my skin look like skin. The one downside for me was the shade range and undertones. I personally struggled to get a perfect shade match because the undertone leaned warmer on me, so I had to adjust with concealer and blush to help balance everything out. I really wish they offered more neutral and olive undertones because I think the formula itself performs beautifully.
Beautiful second skin effect. I am over 50 and this item doesn’t emphasize texture or wrinkles on my face. Go light with the application and you won’t be disappointed.
