Molecular Genesis Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Malassezin + Growth Factors

I never leave reviews, but felt compelled. Very impressed with this moisturizer! Barrier friendly, peptides and growth factors. For reference, late 40s, dry, sensitive skin in southern state with high humidity, traveling a lot, focused on aging gracefully. I've used this for a few months now, in the morning after vitamin C serum, but before my tinted sunscreen or foundation. Layers beautifully, absorbs quickly, not greasy at all, an elegant cream. No need for separate peptide serum because it contains a fair amount, again, unusual in most moisturizers, they that don't contain enough to be impactful. Even harder to find growth factors in a reasonable priced product. This is one step below skinceuticals in my book due to the growth factors. We all have to step up eventually, but for the next few years, this will be my go to in the morning.

I love this moisturizer! It's not too thick and absorbs nicely into my skin. I put it on 2X a day and have noticed that my skin tone has improved. I have acne prone skin and this has not caused any breakouts.

This moisturizer is smooth and creamy, like a nice Greek yogurt. It smells clean, powdery, soft, and light. Because it's on the thicker side, it's incredibly hydrating and perfect for dry skin or the colder months. On combination skin with nice weather, it felt a little oily, but nonetheless, still a very good moisturizer underneath makeup because it keeps the dry patches hydrated.

Rich but not greasy formula, smoothing, hydrating and effective! Best in the category!

It was okay. I liked the concept behind the brand rather than the product itself. I have very dry and sensitive skin and I often found myself having to add two layers in order for my skin to not feel tight. I also don’t normally breakout, but I got two pimples when I was using this product. Didn’t look thegreatest under makeup either. I ended up giving ut to my partner who has kore normal skin andhe enjoys it.

incredibly impressed by this product. I think it may be the holy grail for moisturizers. I’ve been exhaustively trying to find a moisturizer like this!! Here’s why I love it: it’s in a glass container, no scent, goes on like silk/smooth and instantly feels moisturizing while hydrating, and it lasts. It doesn’t feel like lotion or any faux “clean” promise. It offers an instant firm and softness. I feel confident this will be a great staple for skin care.

I’ve been using the product the last few days and I have to be honest, I don’t like it. It’s extremely thick which I usually don’t mind, but it’s also gritty? No matter what I use underneath, it feels like there are grains in the product as I rub it in. Not very pleasant to use. Also as someone who LOVES looking like a glazed donut before bed, this moisturizer takes away every bit of glow on my face… just not for me.

This is an extremely rich and buttery moisturizer that I have been using in my PM routine on days when I use the Retinol Synergist as well. It's too emollient for me to use in the morning as a combo/dehydrated skin girly, but I have loved the experience of using it at night. The cream is fragrance-free, and feels plush on the skin + it gives plenty of play-time to massage into the skin too, so it's great to use alongside a tool like a gua sha. Overall, a very pleasant rich cream and love that the formula is loaded with beneficial ingredients so I don't need a ton of steps to see true benefit.

I am loving the results I'm seeing from using this product and the Molecular Hero Serum. This moisturizer leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth.

Absolutely love this moisturizer! My skin feels more nourished and my dark spots/sun damage has significantly improved since I’ve started using this about 6 months ago. This has become a staple in my routine!
