After using the product In store I thought I would hold for my hair type. I have really thick corse hair. My hair was freshly washed and dry before applying . Unfortunately it wouldn’t slick my hair down when attempting to do a bun. It holds good for some hair types but not all
Had to return. Does not recommend for 4a-4c hair type, unless you do not want a firm hold. It definitely defines curls for this hair type, but again, it does not give a strong hold and it definitely will not hold or provide smoothed out edges.
The holding gel is THAT GIRL! This is the only gel that I will ever put in my head! This is TRUE STRONG HOLD GEL that works great with 4c hair. It also smells great and does not flake!!!
Great scent paired with the leave in conditioner. Good for slick backs, but not wash and gos. You need a lot of product or the teeny tiny curls still pop up for slick backs. My 3a/4c curls don’t last more than a couple days with the leave in and gel combo.
Not a strong hold gel, which it literally says it is. I lightly applied leave in and then this gel, and didn’t see the clumping I’m used to with a strong hold gel. Even after putting a lot of product.
Sliiiiiiick back! I don’t always love using edge control but this strong hold gel gives me shiny slick backs without drying my hair out or flaking. This container is also HUGE so if you don’t use a lot of gel, this could last you until 2030 easily.
Perfect strong hold gel for my thick, coarse 4C hair. A few days after my braid out, I slicked my hair back into a bun using this product & I’m still rocking my bun 4 days later lol
This gel is great for slick back ponytails. It keeps everything in place without feeling heavy and does not flake. It also seems to be somewhat moisturizing to the hair, when I wash it out my hair feels very soft after. This scent is way better than the original
The scent is so good . This gel works so well as a one product styler for my wavy hair . It defines my hair without weighing it down . A little goes a long way for me .
this is the first time in my life I've found a gel to replace so many products in my bathroom! I can use it with my edge brush as edge control, I can use it as a curl gel, I can use it for up-dos, I even used it to grab sections of hair for braiding! Also it smells divine and leaves no flakes! Jar is huge, a little goes a long way. I was hesitant at the price tag but I'm SO glad I bought it
