Indigo Rain Styling Custard

After using this product for a week, I have noticed a huge change in my hairs hydration. I live in the Dallas-area, and currently hitting 100 degrees with some humidity, and my hair looks unfazed #winning. My hair looks amazing, smells amazing. So many compliments. Highly recommend for us curly boys.

I fell in love with the original scent styling custard, but this indigo rain scent is next level. If you like the original styling custard, you’re gonna love this. It gives a really nice slip to the hair, making it easy to detangler while also defining the curls and giving a light hold. I use this on my hair on Washing go days. I also use this on my son’s hair when I’m braiding it.

This has replaced all of my curl creams! It gives my curls hydration and definition. A little bit goes a long way. It keeps my hair defined for several days with just a mist of water.

I have curly, 3B-3C (parts of hair more coily and some looser curls), thick, medium texture, Caucasian hair. I know that's a lot but as someone who has difficulty finding a good "curl" product, I would appreciate all the deets. So I have tried so many curl products and have only a couple I prefer...until now. They still leave my hair a little lacking. Might have good hold but not lasting, might be too heavy, promises might be all air. But THIS styling custard (I tried the original scent) has been my absolute dream. My curls are different underneath vs. upper layers, some more coily, some more loose, some more wavy and some larger bouncy. But no matter the curl on my head, after a day they can flatten, frizz, start looking like a lions mane. And not a lot of protection for breakage and health. This product not only defined all my curl types but make them last for days! I couldn't believe it. It is thicker than I am used to and normally I am very careful not to comb out my curls after applying styling product because it tends to start flattening them sooner, but THIS product, I can run through my hair and scrunch right into a bounce that holds for a long time. As with any curl, I need to protect when I sleep...duh but I am also able to use this as a refresher, using a little for a quick twist and scrunch unlike other products I have tried so far. I will continue to use this product and look forward to trying this new fragrance.

This has become my go-to curl custard! I normally wear my hair in two-strand twists or a puff once silk press season has passed, but this custard has me wanting to wear my curls out and actually learn how to style them. It’s super moisturizing and incredibly creamy — and the smell is chef’s kiss. I always get compliments on my hair after using it. My routine: apply after my leave-in conditioner, then diffuse. The results speak for themselves! Highly recommend for anyone looking to embrace their natural curls.

ZERO HOLD for a us type 4 girls like the bulk of this brand but the scent is her best scent! I will be returning this sadly.

If you want to cut down styling time for wash and gos, this product is it! It gives the hair so much slip.
