Disappointed that this serum replaces the old Vitamin C Caffeine serum that was AMAZING and no longer available. This new serum increases the size of my pores.so I’ll be looking for new product. because the old serum us no longer available
I've been using this serum since it came out, and repurchase one every two months. It's a staple in my skincare routine because it is easy to apply, hydrating, not sticky, and gets the job done without disturbing my makeup routine. The serum also does not have the typical smell associated with vitamin c serums, and also is comparable to other high-end serums on the market. Hopefully they will release a value size of the bottles; I go through these so quickly!
Love this serum. I started to see a few age spots on the side of my face. I started using this and I can see the improvement already. It smells nice and absorbs into the skin well.
Was suggested as on option for oily/combo skin. I would say it is not very lightweight. More of a medium weight serum that made my face feel a bit heavy. Also left my combo skin a bit greasy which I wasn’t a fan of. If you have sensitive skin or are prone to contact dermatitis, this may not be for you either as it is quite low pH and did cause a reaction. I don’t fault the product for that though because everyone’s skin is different.
This feels really nice on the skin!! lightweight, smooth, and easy to layer. I used it in the morning under SPF and makeup and it wore well (no pilling, no greasy feel, and my makeup sat nicely on top). The only downside: I was hoping for more noticeable brightening. Even with consistent use, I didn’t see a big before/after difference in glow or discoloration. If you want a comfortable vitamin C that fits easily into a morning routine, it’s great. If you’re buying it for dramatic brightening, you may want to temper expectations.
This was one of the only products I’ve used where I’ve seen a genuine difference in my skin - I even got complimented at work. I truly recommend this product and will see myself purchasing this again.
I believe they changed the formula and I’m not sure I notice a difference or improvement in my skin, but as someone with sensitive skin it doesn’t break me out. I apply after toner and before my moisturizer.
I really had high hopes for this product as I love their green tea facial cleanser. Unfortunately, I do not recommend for sensitive skin. I used this product for 2 months to give it a chance as I know skin can purge with some vitamin c serum incorporations. However, I developed really bad textured skin. I thought it was the Rhode Islane glazing milk that I had been using for about a year but when I stopped using it the texture still would not go away. After a month of this serum and switching to the Caudalie serum, I can say my texture almost instantly went away. Although my skin was noticeably brighter, it was extremely textured and I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with sensitive skin.
This serum helped fade my dark spots and made my skin look brighter and more even-toned.
