I love fragrances from Maison Louis Marie. These are complex, sophisticated scents that don't have that cloying undertone found in most perfumes. I have a really strong sense of smell, and it's hard for me to find fragrances that don't bother me. I love that I can test them all before choosing.
Overall impression: Most of the fragrances either lack longevity or develop an unpleasant dry-down. Breakdown: • #02 – Medicinal with a strong anise note • #09 – Reminds me of bug spray • #13 – Fades quickly; dries down to a plastic-like scent • Atendris Cassis – Similar to #13, with added bug spray undertones Standouts: • #04 – Fresh floral with a subtle powdery touch • #14 – Clean and fresh with a light sweetness; great for spring/summer • #15 – A crowd-pleasing vanilla; unfortunately lacks longevity. Could layer well with #14 Final note: Given the longevity issues, the oil versions may be worth trying for better performance.
