Bio-Barrier Serum for Skin Repair

I received this product as part of an educational promotion. This is a pretty lightweight serum that layers nicely with other products and absorbs well into the skin. It is fragrance free but there was a strange smell to it on initial use. I’ve gotten use to it by now so it doesn’t bother me anymore. It does plump the skin nicely, but it leaves a bit of a tacky feel. I also find myself looking more greasy than glowy by the end of the day, so I prefer to just use it at night. Overall I think it’s a decent serum to help replenish the skin barrier, but it’s not my favorite.

No tingling, no redness, no feeling like I needed to wash it off early. After a few weeks, I noticed my skin wasn’t as reactive overall. Products I normally approach cautiously suddenly felt easier to tolerate, and my skin just felt more settled in general. It’s not a flashy serum, and it doesn’t try to be. Listen, I have been obsessed with this brand since 2016 & they have yet to disappoint! If you’re on the hunt for a serious skin savior, the Tata Harper Bio-Barrier Serum is basically a skin hug in a bottle. As someone with super sensitive skin, (I’m oily too so I typically don’t use serums) finding products that actually work without causing a break out is a struggle, but this one is THE ONE. I’ve always been obsessed with Tata Harper and everything the brand stands for. There’s just something so reassuring about their commitment to non-toxic, high performing ingredients and that "farm-to-face" philosophy. It makes the whole routine feel a lot more intentional and luxurious. The packaging also helps! It’s simple but that’s what initially drew me to the brand. The texture of this serum is honestly a dream. It feels incredibly silky and smooth when you apply it, and it sinks in almost instantly. One of the best parts is how well it plays with others, it layers perfectly under moisturizer or SPF without any pilling or weirdness. That’s also why I’m always a bit apprehensive to layer products. I’ve experienced pilling with so many different products If you want to keep your skin barrier happy and glowing while sticking to clean beauty, this is definitely a must have for anyone wanting to improve their skin! 10/10 I usually share my products with my sister but this one stays hidden.

WOW! What a fabulous serum! I did not expect to love this serum as much as I did!! It has such a lightweight and lovely feel to it, that doesn’t feel sticky, heavy, or greasy on the skin. There wasn’t really much of a smell to this serum either! It just smelled “clean” or lightly like plants. I have noticed a softening and smoothing effect in my skin over the past 2 weeks of use, already! I cannot wait to see how much more this will benefit me! I’m so grateful to have received this to try in exchange for my honest review!

I have been using this Tata Harper Superkind Bio-Barrier Serum for a few weeks now and I love how it feels and the results I've already started to see. It has a lightweight creamy texture and absorbs easily, but does take a little time for it to fully absorb and there is a bit of a tacky residue that lingers for a few minutes. I tend to put it on and do other things for a few minutes and than finish my skincare routine. I definitely already notice that my fine lines look less noticeable and my skin looks healthier, plumper and more radiant since using it. I love that this brand uses all natural ingredients and a lot of their ingredients are from organic farming, as well as being cruelty free and clean! It has great natural actives and helps to protect the skin barrier-so needed living in LA and with such a dry climate and hard waters. Overall I love the anti-aging benefits and that it helps to hydrate, helps with skin turnover and makes my skin look healthier, more "glowy" and plump, while also protecting it from the elements. It feels like its doing double duty and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a great anti-aging serum made with natural and clean ingrients. Bonus-a little goes a long way so it seems like it will last a long time:) I look forward to seeing more progress as I continue using it!

I love Tata Harper and this Superkind Bio-Barrier Serum is everything I expect from the brand. This serum feels lightweight on the skin. It feels silky as you rub it in and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. It's not super thin and I like that. I love that it's fragrance free. It's not only gentle, it's also very soothing. It's noticeably reduced my redness. My fine lines are starting to look smoother. I love that Tata Harper uses so many natural organic ingredients in their products. I really enjoy using this serum, it helps keeps my skin hydrated and is very easy to use. I like how fresh my skin feels when I use this serum and I like how it helps my skin look better and youthful.

I recently simplified my skin routine bc it was getting out of hand and my skin seemed dehydrated so I did sort of a reset and it was working. When I received this Tata Harper Superkind Bio-Barrier Serum I figured it would be a good test if it would fit into my current routine to see if anything changed. At first it seemed great. Thinner than a cream consistency, thicker than a serum. Fragrance is very light and pleasing. The next morning my skin was glowing more than before. Over the 2.5 weeks, it lost the luster and I’m not sure now. My skin isn’t extra glowy but at the same time my skin is still doing great. Good enough, I suppose. Maybe great if your skin is really needing the boost.

I’ve been using this bio barrier serum for a couple weeks and I am really impressed with its performance. I’ve been applying in the morning and also at night. In the morning, I massage a small amount onto freshly cleansed skin. My skin looks more radiant immediately. My makeup applies smoothly over it with no piling. While I don’t mind scented products, this is completely fragrance free which is great for sensitive skin. It blurs fines lines and has a firming effect. My skin is left supple and smooth. I really like that it’s an all in one serum that soothes, firms, brightens, and smooths all while strengthening the skin barrier. It’s appropriate for all skin types and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an all in one solution to aging skin. Received as part of an educational promotion.
