It strips the hair which is exactly what I was looking for. my hair felt as if everything was removed from it, so keep in mind if you’re not looking for something like that. Amazing for people who live it areas that has heavy amounts of metal in their water. It’s meant to detox heavy metals with a wonderful lather as well. The scent is good, has synthetic perfume and a pine leaf oil in it giving it a woody scent rather than a rosemary scent like its counterparts. I have locs with a section that is not locked. It works well on both parts. It did not sting my eyes, felt like other shampoos I’ve used and prefer in that regards

I've been reworking my haircare routine and have sampled quite a few clarifying and detox shampoos - this is my favorite so far! The Detox Shampoo's gel consistency works into my hair and all over my scalp well, and lathers up so nicely. The scent is very clean and not too intense or lingering.
My scalp and hair feel really clean without being stripped and squeaky. I also used their Rosemary Conditioner afterwards and my hair truly has never been so light, silky, and healthy-feeling! I'm super excited to keep up the routine on a weekly basis!

I really wanted to love this product and I noticed after the first time I used this shampoo that my hair was super dry. I did rinse my hair twice and used my usual conditioner. I thought it was a fluke then I tried it again last week and this time my hair was not only dry but my scalp also got super itchy.

The perfect reset shampoo for me
I needed a shampoo that would help me reset. Between sprays of sunscreen, sweat, and oil this summer, I needed something that would strip things back and allow for other products to nourish and restore my hair and scalp. As a result, this can be a bit drying but it's doing exactly what I need it to. This is the perfect option for me for a once a week/ once every 10 days reset and I cannot get over how INCREDIBLE this smells.
